At about 10 a.m. on March 14, a kindergarten in Qingcheng District, Qingyuan City, sneaked into a 1-meter-long snake and urgently needed rescue.
After the rescuers arrived at the scene, they learned that the long snake was still in the kindergarten yard, hiding in the grass next to the wall on the first floor of the courtyard, fortunately, the children were in the classroom at the time and were not frightened.
According to the guidance of the kindergarten staff, the firefighters quickly found the hiding place of the long snake. It was hiding in the grass, showing only its tail. Firefighters immediately used snake traps to pull it out of the grass, put it in a prepared woven bag, and took it to a remote place to release it.
A reminder
1. The weather gradually warms up, and snakes begin to move frequently. Snakes generally like to find shady plants to entrench, and it is not advisable to grow a large number of plants in or around the home.
2. In general, mountains, houses built on the side of mountains, dense grass, and even green belts of roads are places where snakes often inhabit, and special attention should be paid to prevention.
3. Snakes generally do not take the initiative to attack people, unless it believes that it is threatened, so when encountering snakes, especially poisonous snakes, do not alarm it, but avoid its attention and slowly retreat to safety.
4. Don't drive yourself away. Never drive or capture yourself with a stick, in case you are chased by a snake, run a curve.
5. In the case of uncertainty about the toxicity and danger of the snake, the personnel evacuate the house in time, and close the doors and windows of the house to trap the snake in the house to prevent it from escaping outside.
