Travis Fimmel from Vikings confirmed to join TNT's new sci-fi drama Raised by Wolves as the male lead.
The show focuses on two robots responsible for raising human children on a mysterious, unexplored planet. With the rapid pace of human colonization, as different religious beliefs are threatened, these two robots recognize that controlling people's beliefs is a dangerous and difficult task. Famir will play one of the male robots named Father, and the other female robot will be named Mother.
Ridley Scott confirmed directing the first two episodes of the show, his first return to the screen in nearly 50 years. He also serves as an executive producer. Aaron Guzikowski of Prisoners will be the show's series operator and screenwriter.
TNT had booked the show for the entire season as early as Last October, and its premiere date is unknown to other actors.
