Former NBA guard O. J. Mayo, who is preparing to head to Europe after leaving the Chinese league, is already very close to signing with Yonex Kazan.

Mayo will be the second former NBA player signed by Yonex Kazan this season. The first is Mario Hezonja, the Croatian forward who was selected by the Magic with the 3rd pick in the 1st round in the 2015 draft, having played for the Magic, the New York Knicks and the Portland Trail Blazers.
