On August 18, 2017, the Hangzhou Internet Court, the first Internet court in China, was officially established, focusing on specific types of Internet cases. The establishment of the Hangzhou Internet Court was rated as one of the 40 "firsts" in the 40 years of reform and opening up, written into the "Major Events Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China", and selected as the first annual best practice achievement of digital China construction.
On September 9, 2018, the Beijing Internet Court was established, and up to now, the online case filing application rate of the court has reached 100%, the online trial rate has reached 99.9%, a total of 166,000 cases have been concluded, and a number of benchmark cases such as the first "dark traffic" case in China, the first "artificial intelligence" copyright case in the world, and the "AI accompaniment" software infringement of personality rights case have been heard, creating the "Beijing experience" of Internet trials.
Established on 28 September 2018, the Guangzhou Internet Court is the only Internet court in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The court continues to promote the in-depth integration of cutting-edge technology and the judiciary, create a one-stop litigation service platform that is "24 hours a day", connect the "5G intelligent trial card" with short messages as the entrance, and establish the first professional collegial panel for data disputes in China, creating a number of typical cases with extensive social influence.
