According to Shams, the Rockets and Wall have decided to part ways, and the team will find a new destination for him.
According to Rockets reporter Kelly Iko, Wall isn't the only problem the Rockets need to solve, Eric Gordon is another veteran of the team who doesn't align with Houston's plans for the future.
"Gordon's position is not as important as Wall's because he often comes off the bench, but to some extent it's still a problem that needs to be dealt with. The longer Gordon stays with the team, the less time he has given to the young bench. The reporter said.
Gordon is now 32 years old, and last season, Gordon played only 27 games (starting 13 games) with injuries, averaging 17.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. Its current contract has 3 years left and is worth about $58 million.
