Liang Hanwen: This time is really a very coincidental fate, a few of us are friends who have known each other for more than 20 years, we have known each other since we entered the industry, but we have not had much contact because of the different fields of their respective work, suddenly we have such a big circle, we met in "Brother Who Cut Through Thorns", the familiarity and trust cultivated from childhood have made us into a "Greater Bay Area Brother" combination that makes everyone feel so interesting. So there are some things that I don't deliberately think about so much, (but there are surprises). The original intention of participating in this show at the beginning was that I felt that the show was not like "Sister Riding the Wind and Waves", this time it was "creating a different stage", I immediately thought that I could create a different stage with many experienced brothers who are excellent in different fields, which is a very "positive" thing for people who like to create and enjoy the stage so much! So, without much thought, I immediately decided to participate. Who knows that as soon as I entered the show, I met these "brothers" who had known each other for so long, and I can only say that this is "God's own arrangement".
Nandu: Are you getting along as joyful as it is on the show?
Liang Hanwen: From childhood to adulthood (we get along) are exactly the same! I have known Zhang Zhilin and Chen Xiaochun for a long time, because Zhang Zhilin and I are newcomers in the same year, and we have also experienced the highs and lows of the Hong Kong music scene together, and he has made a lot of TV dramas for a while, which is also very popular in the mainland; and I have been singing Cantonese songs for more than 20 years and constantly producing Cantonese records. I may have done more concerts in Hong Kong than they do, but they have more opportunities to make TV dramas and let mainland friends know me. Our combination is very strange, some people make more movies, some people make more TV series, some people sing more, some people mainly do hosting, I have also been the host of "Beauty Kitchen", so everyone can just cooperate with each other. Liang Hanwen: In fact, we separated before the fifth performance. Nandu: How did you feel when you came to Guangzhou?

Liang Hanwen: Absolutely! Because this time "Brother With Thorns and Thorns", everyone likes the Greater Bay Area and "Greater Bay Tsai", we sometimes unconsciously speak Cantonese on the show, only to find that everyone likes to listen so much. Everyone knows that in the 1980s and 1990s, there were a lot of good Cantonese songs, and now many performance venues, including those in the north, also hope that we can sing Cantonese songs. Nandu: When you recorded "Band Storm", you recalled a lot of music stories from the 1980s and 1990s, what was the biggest feeling?
Liang Hanwen: The biggest feeling is that I have gone through many different stages. If I had to use one word to describe the Hong Kong music scene in the 1980s and 1990s, I would use "fire" to describe it, and "fire" represents their confidence and that "fire" at that time. I was most impressed by beyond, Tai Chi, Grasshopper and other bands, I used to do shows with them, the fans were really crazy, at that time I thought: Don't follow them, because they are so good! Their "anger" and self-confidence in coming to power at that time were full. Since the 1990s, we have taken up the baton all the way, hoping to carry forward Cantonese songs and shine in different places.
But around 2000, Chinese songs slowly became more powerful, the coverage was very large, and for us singers who have been Cantonese songs for so many years, whether in front of or behind the stage, there is a feeling of entering an "ice age". At that time, I thought: What can be done to continue to revitalize Cantonese songs? I never gave up. For example, I made a TV series "Eclipse of the Sun" before, I had the opportunity to perform on CCTV, they asked me what songs I sang, and I always tried to sing "Seven Friends" and sing Cantonese songs. But that stage was difficult, because everyone's interest in Cantonese songs was not so strong, and at that time the director said: "Our friends in the north don't know how to listen to Cantonese, you still sing Chinese songs." "I often face this situation. Today, after doing "Brother With Thorns and Thorns", everyone likes Cantonese songs again, and I feel as if we have done a little bit for Cantonese songs.
Nandu: The Voice of China recently won the title of a new generation of Cantonese singers, and Li Keqin was her mentor, which was a phenomenon that had never been seen before. How do you see this phenomenon?
Liang Hanwen: I feel very satisfied, at least what I have insisted on for so long, and finally have some results today, so that everyone continues to love Cantonese songs.
Nandu: Cantonese songs are mainly emotional, and it is a little difficult to innovate. "Principal" Tam Wing Lin once said that the voice and recognition of the new generation of Cantonese singers are not as personal as the Cantonese singers of the 1980s and 1990s. How do you think this phenomenon can be changed?
Liang Hanwen: Of course it's difficult. But at least at this stage, everyone has broadened their minds and re-accepted Cantonese songs, this time it is like a "come back", I think that the front and back of the stage can seize this opportunity to push all Cantonese culture, everyone to push it to the highest peak. I think the change is to continue to create more Cantonese songs, and if you listen to them more, it will be easier to recognize.
Nandu: Do you have the confidence to be a Cantonese song "newcomer"? The so-called new people are also constantly seeking new.
Liang Hanwen: In fact, I have always maintained this mentality, hoping to give some new things to music fans. Just like this time when I came to the mainland market, I continued to do some things that newcomers do as a "50-year-old newcomer". Of course, I have a lot of experience, and I will also do some music that suits me to bring to the fans. Whether new or old, the most important thing is to open your mind to accept new things and evolve them into some good works for everyone.
