ESPN reported on August 4 that free agent Andre Drummond agreed to join the 76ers on a one-year contract.
76ers reporter Kyle Neubeck revealed that Drummond's contract is a 1-year salary. Another 76ers reporter, Keith Pompey, also confirmed that Drummond's contract is a veteran base salary.
In the 2020-21 season, Drummond signed with the Lakers after being bought out by the Cavaliers, averaging 14.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.37 steals and 1.07 blocks per game.
