In 1951, because of his outstanding performance in the army, he was transferred by the central government to Zhongnanhai as a guard, responsible for the security of the then national leader, during which he was awarded the honor of personal third class merit. Ye LaoRong's third-class meritorious service certificate has been treasured for 70 years, and the young militiamen carefully rubbed this precious award with their hands, and a sense of mission stirred in their hearts.
