On the morning of February 3, local time, the 24th batch of China's peacekeeping medical detachment to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) combined with the security situation around the station and its own work characteristics, carried out targeted vigilance and defense drills in the camp area, testing and improving the emergency response and self-protection capabilities of the detachment in response to emergencies.

Recently, the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) Command reported that there had been a large-scale attack by unknown armed personnel around Bukavu, the mission area where the Chinese peacekeeping medical detachment was located. In order to cope with possible unexpected situations, the detachment immediately launched the battalion defense plan, transferred to the second level of combat readiness, and carried out a full-element camp defense drill.

It is reported that since the detachment was stationed, in addition to carrying out intense medical treatment and the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, they repaired and strengthened the fortifications, built a monitoring system covering the entire camp, and carried out normal combat readiness drills.
