Lili Dong from Taizhou People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province, China, is an ophthalmologist with the 32nd China Aid Zanzibar Medical Team, and is currently engaged in ophthalmology diagnosis and teaching at Nazmoga Hospital. Mu Xin, a 46-year-old cataract patient, has been unable to see in his left eye for three years and was diagnosed with presenile cataracts. On the first day after Dong Lili's cataract surgery, Mu Xin's vision in her left eye reached 0.3. Since she started working in October last year, Lily Dong has performed 297 cataract surgeries, bringing light to patients.
