The first step is to download "cd to", which is open source software, go to GitHub and search for "cdto", or go directly to github.com/jbtule/cdto/releases download.

In the second step, unzip the Finder and drag the extracted CD to.app to Applications in the left rail.

Step 3: Open Applications for the Finder, click to select CD to.app, hold down the cmd key, and drag CD to.app to the Finder's toolbar.
