However, such a significant and admirable ambition was his epiphany under a natural disaster.
He is Kangba Hanzi, a post-95 Tibetan monk, Jigme.
This is a grassland of more than 3,700 meters in Tagong Town, Kangding City, Kardze Prefecture, Sichuan, and there is a lonely and cold only library, Nalangma Community Library. "Why would a poor monk build such a seemingly meaningless and special library in this uninhabited, thin and cold place?"

In 1995, a cry of a not wealthy herder family resounded through the world, and an authentic Khamba man arrived, and since then his life has begun.
The future life is also like a destiny in the dark, in this vast world, with cattle and sheep, living a herding life, so as to carry the special survival of the herdsman's house.
The herders here have no access to the outside world, and their lifelong herding life has long become an unchanging law for life.
However, the boy's fate is like God's own arrangement, and this life seems to have its own destiny. He embarked on a special path in life in accordance with the will of God.
Thrive, 7 years in a hurry, and in a flash. At the age of 7, he has not yet experienced the world, and he should have dreamed of a beautiful life and felt his childhood in this beautiful grassland landscape. However, at this time, the boy may have a lotus seed inexplicably deeply rooted in his heart. Or perhaps, this has long become a new road under the poverty of the herders of the land and water.
When the boy was 7 years old, he was separated from his parents and retreated into a temple to study Buddhism. Later, he went to Hanshan Temple Buddhist College in Suzhou to study Chinese Buddhism.
In this way, the worldly path of the boy herdsman was overcome, and the long Buddhist road that belonged to the monks of Jigme in the future began.
I never expected that this turning point and determination in life, this long path of cultivation, completely changed the thoughts of a shepherd boy's life.
Stretching for more than 2,000 kilometers from the western Sichuan plateau to the land of Jiangnan, Jigme used Buddhism as a tool to walk out of the eternal steppe in her heart. The wider world appeared in front of him, which amazed him.
It turned out that between heaven and earth, there was such a new world that was changing with each passing day.
This realm of this world is like a lotus flower that Gan Lin constantly watered in Jiumei's heart. This watering all the way, practicing and studying all the way, cultivated the Buddhist heart of Jigmei's compassion, and made every thought haunt the heart, and it will not be forgotten for a long time.
"How can more new generation herders in their hometowns understand this changing world?"
Such a thought has become Jigmi's obsession, but she doesn't know how to answer it.
As everyone knows, a human catastrophe, like a thunderbolt on a sunny day, fell mercilessly, and it became a silent answer under this grief.
It was this catastrophe that made Kumi resolutely set a grand vision.
This grand act often causes people to feel confused and "simply incomprehensible and meaningless."
However, this ambition completely changed the life of a generation.
In 2014, a 6.3 magnitude Tagong earthquake erupted in Jigme's hometown of Kangding County, Ganzi, Sichuan. Thousands of herders are in trouble.
At this time, the monk Jigme was still practicing in Suzhou's Hanshan Temple. When I heard the bad news, I was very anxious. Immediately, he resolutely returned to his hometown and plunged headlong into the rescue operation.
Jigme takes Buddha as a Dharma, carries compassion as a great idea, and saves her father and fellow villagers from fire and water.
In just one month, countless relief materials were distributed, and the words of gratitude from villagers were heard endlessly, and more than 1,500 households were visited.
In the eyes of the villagers, he is like a true Buddha and Bodhisattva, doing the work of universalizing all sentient beings. However, in Kumi's eyes, it was a different scene, and there was already a different thought in his heart.
He saw not only the villagers wailing under the disaster, but the crux of the poverty of the entire tribe.
"The ancestors here, generation after generation, cycle, since childhood, have regarded the sky and earth of the steppe as their lifelong goal, and even they have never known what the outside world is like all their lives, and everything here is the same as it was 700 years ago."
"If this cycle continues, education here will always lag behind, life here will never improve, and there will be a permanent disconnect from the outside world." A series of long-term macro ideas lingered in Jigmi's heart.
With some determination, from Kumi's heart, the lotus seed finally bloomed. He knew he had to do something.
He decided not to return to the temple and immediately set up a simple tent.
"Children here are supposed to understand the outside world and be able to go out in the future to find their desired purpose in life." With this belief, Jigme invited knowledgeable friends to come and give lectures to these children about the outside world.
A curious child came, and Kumi's behavior attracted more than 70 children to listen and learn.
The tent became a small tent school. Usually, it is open to free learning for children, and meals are provided to children. Although, sometimes there are only simple potatoes.
However, the children were delighted to be able to learn about the wonderful world outside while eating potatoes.
However, the ensuing difficulties also caused the monk Jigme to ponder.
After all, the tent is simple, often windy and sandy, whistling. In addition, due to bad weather, children are unable to concentrate and even put in danger.
"There has to be a more comfortable and safe environment."
This thought tumbled in the heart of the monk Jigme, became an obsession, and he couldn't sleep all night. Immediately made a decision, as if accepting the destiny of heaven, it can be described as solid as a rock.
"I'm going to build a real library."
This thought blurted out, but it caused everyone to be stunned and questioned.
"Stop thinking about it, it's completely impossible."
"Unreasonable, foolish, meaningless."
When the nearby villagers heard about the monk Jigme, they naturally persuaded him to give up, but no one was optimistic about him.
At this time, Jigme, penniless, no connections, no resources and money, and no knowledge of construction knowledge, just relying on a passion to build a library with his bare hands at an altitude of several kilometers and under extremely harsh wind and sand. In this case, you and I will definitely feel that this monk is a little naïve.
However, no one expected that Jigme's series of grand moves in the future would make everyone unbelievable. This impoverished monk single-handedly created a miracle.
Despite all the difficulties, Kumi is unwilling to give up.
Without money, he developed barley sauce day after day to raise money and save every penny. Sell a little, save a little, break ground a little.
He does not know technology, but day after day, starting from the very basics, he teaches himself architectural design and self-drawing drawings. Through great hardships, the library appeared before the paper surface.
Immediately, Jigme did not say a word, worked tirelessly, brick by brick, with the power of one person, to carry and build. Each stone weighed more than three hundred pounds, and he did not complain. Not to mention that this is still a place of high altitude.
Day after day, Jigme suddenly took over the great responsibility of the world, from 0 to 1, brick by brick, 3700 meters between heaven and earth, a unique library, gradually took shape, rising up.
Without an overly ornate appearance and style, the library blends into a beautiful backdrop, carrying a collection of 8,000 books, and continuing the special meaning given by Jigme.
This lonely path of founding the monastery lasted 19 months. The monk Jigme finally came to fruition.
For 700 years, it has continued the survival path of Tibetan nomads. Now, they finally have their first library. Named Nalangma Community Library.
In the days to come, children can study here and get what they need. Behind them is the beautiful snowy mountain scenery, the hand is a vast book that can be read fascinatingly, and the heart has already flown over this majestic snowy mountain, filled with the wonders of the world.
Not only that, Kumi and her friends will guide the children from time to time, answer every question they are curious about, and invite volunteers from all walks of life to give art classes, music classes, nature classes and other courses.
All this, without eligibility requirements, is completely free and open.
Just spare no effort to show everything in the outside world in the hearts of children.
