Ludwig van Beethoven
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827): German composer, originally from Feld, born in Bonn and later emigrated to Bonn. His father was a gongyan musician and singer of the local elector.
In 1779 Beethoven became a student of Nie Fei and later served as his assistant. He has served as a court vice organist and viola player in opera bands. He later studied with Haydn, Schenck, Albre, Hitzberg and Saleri.
He settled in Vienna in 1792 and in 1795 he made his debut as a composer and pianist and played successfully in Taiwan. In 1798 he lost his hearing in both ears, and by 1819 his condition had deteriorated to the point of being inscriptive. But he continued to work with tenacious perseverance, and over the next 30 years, he continued to create works in a variety of genres.
He died in 1827, and the funeral in Warin, where more than 20,000 people spontaneously participated in the funeral procession, became a major event in the country. He is buried in the Vienna Central Cemetery.
He suffered hardships and stubbornly fought against diseases during his lifetime, but he did not give in, he wanted to "choke the throat of fate", And Beethoven's role in the history of music and the history of musical development was extremely great, and he was praised as "the saint of music". His works of his lifetime are vast, including nine symphonies (famous for "Heroes", "Destiny", "Pastoral", "Chorus"), 32 piano sonatas (famous for "The Tempest", "Moonlight", "Dawn", "Passion", "Pathos"), 5 piano concertos, 21 variations, orchestral, chorus, opera, ballet, chamber music, piano music, songs, vocal suites, etc., as well as the opera "Federio", the oratorio "Mass in D major", "Mass in D major".
