Beibei: I think the best thing to reflect the full-scenario strategy on Petal Maps is the "handcart interconnection" function, what is handcart interconnection? It refers to the interconnection and circulation of information between mobile phones and car machines, which can support the circulation and sharing of locations, routes, and navigation, and we not only support multiple applications, but also cross-device, whether it is Hongmeng equipment or non-Hongmeng devices. It is worth mentioning that in the Hongmeng system, we support touch transmission, that is, the mobile phone and the car machine can be touched in a fixed area to achieve the process, which is very convenient and fast.

So why did we design this feature in the first place? In fact, this is the result of our team's brainstorming, because our user is the owner, and the car can not be in the user's hand all the time, but the mobile phone can be held by the user all the time, and when the user gets on the car, usually still need the car map, then these two scenarios combined, we will find that the car machine and the mobile phone are actually complementary scenes in travel, so this is our simplest idea. So when we were actually doing it, we designed some scenes, such as the address that a friend shared with you, such as an Internet celebrity store you found on the food app, so the characteristics of this handcart interconnection came out.

Host: This function sounds very suitable for our daily life scenes, can you give us more details?

Beibei: No problem, in fact, this feature mainly includes two parts, the first is to get on the car and continue, which means that when the user initiates navigation from a starting point, usually finds the car first, and after finding the car, the navigation on the mobile phone can be connected to the car machine through this function, and then realize the circulation.

The second is to get off and connect, that is, when we navigate to a certain destination, we may first arrive at the parking place, so if the parking place and the destination have a certain distance, we can use this function to flow from the car machine to the mobile phone, then this function in the design of a careful thought, that is, considering that the user in the parking of the car, that is, will change from driving to walking, then in the circulation we will automatically switch the driving navigation to walking navigation, then for the user, The drop-off location is both the end point of driving navigation and the starting point of walking navigation.

The entire handcart interconnection covers the circulation of many scenarios, and we will expand to more terminal products and applications in the future, and the encounter transmission based on the Harmony operating system will also make this function more and more convenient and intelligent.

Host: You can see the details of the product manager behind this function, and actually take into account the car to the mobile phone walking navigation, from the background data, the utilization rate of this function is also very high, but in the process of use, we have many users will feedback, our circulation of the location, route is inconsistent, why is this?

Beibei: This is a very good question, the main reasons are 2, first, the location name and coordinate difference between each application, because the original map data used in each application is actually from the map dealer, and the specifications and principles of the production location of each map dealer are not standardized, the location made within a certain range and according to their respective naming rules to define the name are all possible, such as ** hospital southeast gate and ** hospital (southeast gate), although the naming is inconsistent, But in the real world, it is the same door, and the inconsistency of the original data used by different applications leads to circulation, and users may feel that the location has changed, which is actually the difference in the original data;

Second, the problem of inconsistent routes after circulation, which mainly has three influencing factors: 1 is a bit similar to the location, and the production specifications of various map dealers are inconsistent, resulting in inevitable differences or differences when drawing the road network, so the circulation of the application level will inevitably be different; 2 is in the route, there will be a route preference setting, may not be paid attention to by many users, for example, you choose the fastest speed on the mobile phone, and the car machine chooses less charge, so the route will be inconsistent after the flow, in addition, the route in the process of calculation, the algorithm will be very complex, there will be some big data models precipitated in the route results, so it is difficult to be completely 100% consistent; 3 is the road conditions, the road conditions are usually called real-time road conditions in the map industry, it is real-time changes, it is possible that this minute this place has a car accident in congestion, the next minute to move, and returned to usually, the real world is ever-changing, so in the process of calculating the road, there may be inconsistencies in extreme cases.

In fact, in response to the inconsistency, we are also trying to solve it, hoping to give users a better experience, and also hope that when we encounter problems, we can give us timely feedback, hoping that we can do better and better.

Host: Then I "dared" to throw out a detailed question, with the launch of the M5 EV, for this pure electric model, does Petal Maps have the corresponding function optimization? Especially combined with the anxiety of some users about cruising range, charging speed, etc.

Beibei: The host's questions are very sharp, yes, the launch of the M5 EV also marks that the series has begun to move towards the field of pure electric models, unlike the extended-range model, how to predict whether the destination is reachable before the user travels, the dynamic detection and evaluation of the power in the line and timely notification to the user, when the low battery is found, how to recommend charging stations along the way to the user to solve the user's mileage anxiety problem, it has become very critical.

To this end, we have launched the "mileage estimation/fast charge priority" function, before the trip, we will prompt the user whether there is enough power to reach the destination according to the user's route planning, and how much power is left after arriving at the destination; In the trip, considering that real-time road conditions and driving habits will affect the actual remaining battery life, we will monitor the battery in real time, and when it reaches a certain low battery threshold, we will actively remind the user, and plan for the user to the place where it can be charged, and we will make a fast charging priority strategy for navigating the past charging station, so as to facilitate users to use the function more efficiently. It can be said that before and during the trip, we will calculate and monitor the relationship between power and trip in real time, and remind users to deal with it in time, so as to solve the user's mileage anxiety problem and make the user's journey worry-free.

Kitabe: Hahaha, next comes the "paid listening" part (shhh You guessed right, we're about to launch a very interesting feature on the M5 EV called "poached egg", what does "poached egg" mean? In fact, when the user opens the map, we can present a reachable range, according to different road networks and road conditions and the remaining power of the current car, you can calculate an irregular reachable range, that is, we show this "poached egg" diagram, which is mainly to inform the user, we according to the current car endurance, can reach the approximate range, beyond the range of this "poached egg" may need to be charged halfway, you can also do a one-click search of the charging station when the route is planned.
