It is particularly commendable that Xu Chunzhong's series of oil paintings on Chinese historical themes created in the past ten years have achieved remarkable results and have been widely noticed and praised at home and abroad. He used his brush to artistically and faithfully record the history of the Chinese nation itself, and painted nearly 100 large-scale oil paintings with a length and width of 2 meters and 3 meters in the past ten years. He painted Chinese historical themes from the heart of a strong pursuit, not commissioned or funded paintings involving monetary benefits; there were no restrictions on deposits and deposit auctions, nor for exhibitions and sales; he bought materials according to his own plan more than 10 years ago, and painted one by one based only on his own emotions and experiences. In the face of the irritability in the tide of contemporary art economy, he silently immersed himself in the studio, which is really precious!
