In injury time in the first half, Gersun received a second yellow card for a foul in the penalty area, and Dawasaari hit another penalty to give Riyadh Crescent a 2-1 lead into the break.

Dawasaari provided an assist in the 70th minute and Bieto scored from a tight angle to extend Riyadh Crescent's 3-1 lead.

In injury time, Pedro scored twice in front of goal to make it 2-3 for Flamengo.

After 90 minutes, Riyadh Crescent defeated Flamengo 3-2 to reach the Club World Cup final, awaiting the winner between Real Madrid and Cairo National. Riyadh Crescent became the third Asian team to reach the final of the Club World Cup after Kashima Antlers and Ain.
