According to public information, Li Tie was born in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province in May 1977, entered Zhang Yin Football School at the age of 8 to receive professional football training, was selected for the Jianlibao team at the age of 16 and was sent to Brazil to study, and was recalled to China to join the national football team at the age of 20.

After retiring in May 2012, Li Tie successively served as assistant coach of Guangzhou Evergrande team, assistant coach of China men's national team, head coach of Huaxia Happiness Club team, head coach of Wuhan Zall Club team and head coach of national men's football selection team.

For more than two months, the results of the investigation into Li Tie's case have not yet come out, and two more people have fallen from the Chinese Football Association.

On the afternoon of January 19, the discipline inspection and supervision team of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State General Administration of Sports issued a notice that Liu Yishen, member of the 11th Executive Committee of the Chinese Football Association and former secretary general, and Chen Yongliang, executive deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Football Association and director of the national team management department, were suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and the two were officially announced on the same day for review and investigation.

It is worth mentioning that four days before the official announcement was investigated, at the eighth meeting of the 11th Executive Committee of the Chinese Football Association held in Suzhou on January 15, Liu Yi was removed from the post of secretary general of the Chinese Football Association.

On January 9, the discipline inspection and supervision team of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision reported that Hu Guangyu, deputy director of the Department of Political Science and Law of the State General Administration of Sports, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and was currently under examination and investigation by the discipline inspection and supervision team of the State Supervision Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection stationed in the State General Administration of Sport and the Dongcheng District Supervision Commission of Beijing.

On February 2, the Chongqing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision announced that Li Yaguang, a former inspector of the Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and was currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision and investigation by the Chongqing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision.

Li Yaguang, 65 years old (born 1958), a native of Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, was selected for the Chinese men's basketball team in 1981 and participated in the men's basketball competition at the 1984 Summer Olympics and the 1988 Summer Olympics.

In 1988, Li Yaguang retired and took over the coaching of the Chinese women's basketball team, leading the team to the runner-up of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games as the head coach of the Chinese women's basketball team.

According to the official website of the Chongqing Municipal Government, in August 2018, Li Yaguang retired and was removed from the post of inspector and deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau. During his tenure, he was in charge of competitive sports.
