At that time, the expedition was conducting a survey of a place called the Hanging Sinkhole. The sinkhole is 130 meters deep and about 100 meters wide, surrounded by vertical cliffs, and the waterfall in the pit is extremely steep. As the expedition descended to the bottom of the pit, they spotted a flying cat in the bushes of the bottom slope.
Flying cat is a unique animal of the sinkhole cave group, the scientific name is shrew, also known as "six unlike", the face is like a fox, the eyes are like a cat, the pointed-billed rat, the ears are like rabbits, the claws are like ducks, and the tail is squirrel.
Flying cats can glide between cliffs and large trees with wide wing flippers between the front and back legs, and the maximum head and tail length can reach 1 meter and weigh more than 7 pounds. But flying cats are very shy, day and night, and increasingly rare, it is not easy to see live flying cats with their own eyes.
