Recently, according to the Anti-Telecommunications Network Fraud Law of the People's Republic of China, the Wuxi Xishan police imposed administrative punishments on Li, an offender who illegally traded, rented or lent telephone cards. After review, Li repeatedly leased his mobile phone card to others at a high price to provide assistance for telecommunications network fraud crimes and illegally profited.
Because Li's illegal conduct did not meet the standard of criminal punishment, Li was given 10 days of administrative detention and a large fine of more than 10,000 yuan in accordance with the Anti-Telecommunications Network Fraud Law of the People's Republic of China.
How much can you fine a large fine?
Pursuant to Article 44 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Countering Telecommunications Network Fraud, where the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 31 of this Law are violated, the unlawful gains are confiscated, and the public security organs are to give a fine of between 1 and 10 times the unlawful gains, and where there are no unlawful gains or the unlawful gains are less than 20,000 RMB, give a fine of up to 200,000 RMB; where the circumstances are serious, they shall be detained for not more than 15 days.
