A few days ago, Netcom learned from overseas media carscoops that Corvette E-Ray was officially unveiled. The new car comes with an exclusive exterior performance package and a high-performance carbon-ceramic brake system as standard. In terms of power, the car is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 6.2-liter V8 engine + electric motor, with a combined output of 655 horsepower. It is reported that the Corvette E-Ray starts at US$104,295 (equivalent to about 706,000 yuan).
At the front, the Corvette E-Ray is equipped with an exaggerated aerodynamic package and a carbon fiber front lip assembly, and the slender LED headlight clusters on both sides are very visually striking. At the same time, the new car can also be optionally equipped with an exclusive Electric Blue blue double-striped body pulled, highlighting its hybrid version identity.
The new car's side styling is sharper, and the design of the side air intakes combined with the exclusive carbon fiber side skirt assembly is full of sporty atmosphere. The Corvette E-Ray also comes standard with a Brembo carbon-ceramic brake system and optional carbon rims. At the rear, the raised spoiler assembly is recognizable with sharp LED taillight clusters on both sides, while the rear diffuser assembly and bilateral four-outlet exhaust system make it more violent.
The interior of the Corvette E-Ray adopts a dual-color design, and is embellished with carbon fiber trim and contrasting stitching on the center console and other parts, which is full of driving atmosphere with integrated sports seats. In addition, the car is equipped with a full LCD instrument cluster and center console with exclusive display mode, as well as a multi-function steering wheel with a novel shape and a positive logo.
In terms of power, the Corvette E-Ray is equipped with a hybrid system consisting of a 6.2-liter V8 engine + electric motor, with a combined output of 655 horsepower and a peak torque of 806 Nm. The transmission part is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It is worth mentioning that the drive motor of the car is mounted on the front axle, and the front wheel can be used alone for drive in pure electric mode.
