Hyundai Motor recently released specific information on the next-generation KONA for the Korean market. The all-new KONA will be available in fuel, hybrid and all-electric versions, and each powertrain is available in a sportier N Line model. In the domestic market, Hyundai KONA was previously domestically produced by Beijing Hyundai, Chinese named "Onsino", and launched fuel and pure electric models, but it has been discontinued.

According to the information exposed, the size of the new KONA has increased, its length, width and height are 4350/1825/1580 mm, and the wheelbase is 2660 mm, which is 145 mm longer than the old model, the width is increased by 25 mm, and the wheelbase is increased by 60 mm.
With the change in dimensions, the seating space inside the new KONA has also been optimized. According to modern official data, the new KONA has 77 mm more legroom, 11 mm more headroom in the second row of seats, and 1402 mm more shoulder room in the second row.
Inside, the all-new KONA is equipped with dual 12.3-inch continuous screens and a pocket gear shift method to enrich the storage space in the car. In terms of configuration, according to the available data, the all-new KONA will be equipped with ambient lights, sunroof, manual passenger seat adjustment, OTA upgrade, power tailgate, wireless charging, seat memory and other configurations.
At present, Hyundai has only officially announced the power parameters of the new KONA gasoline and hybrid models, and the pure electric version is expected to be officially released in March. The all-new KONA fuel version is available in two sets of power, a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 145 kW and a peak torque of 265 Nm; The 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine has a maximum power of 109 kW and a peak torque of 179.5 Nm. The hybrid system of the new KONA consists of a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 103 kW and a combined peak torque of 265 Nm.
In terms of driving assistance, the all-new KONA is equipped with functions such as Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, High Beam Assist, Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Following Assist, and Highway Driving Assist.
