Not far from the junction of Huairou and Miyun on National Highway 101, that is, 0.5 kilometers east of Liyuanzhuang Village, Beifang Town, Huairou District, there is an ancient city ruins park, turn right from Road 101 and go about 500 meters, you can see a sign standing on the side of the road, which reads "Yuyang City Site", which was erected by the Huairou District Culture and Tourism Bureau in September 2021, marking this site as an immovable cultural relic of Huairou District.

In addition to some broken bricks and tiles on the ground, other items such as cultural walls and pavilions were built later, and the charm of the city wall can no longer be seen.

The earliest written record of Yuyang County is in the Yan Kingdom during the Warring States period, and it was called Yuyang because it was located in Yushui, which is now the Yang of the White River.

Yuyang County was founded in the pre-Qin and Han dynasties, the north built a thousand miles of the Great Wall to resist the Xiongnu, the south cultivated thousands of acres of rice fields to develop agriculture, after a thousand years of governance has been changed many times, such as the Northern Wei period moved to the Yongnu, that is, north of Wuqing County in Tianjin, Northern Qi moved Yuyang to the east of Youzhou, that is, Tongzhou area, Sui and Tang moved Yuyang to Jixian, this site of Liyuanzhuang in Huairou District is the location of the city center of Yuyang County that year, the site is 300 to 400 meters long from east to west, 200 to 300 meters wide from north to south, according to legend, there are earthen city walls around, so the name "Chengzidi". From 1982 to 1984, pottery from the Qin and Han dynasties, daylight copper mirrors, five-baht coins and other cultural relics were unearthed successively.

During the Qin, Han, Wei and Jin dynasties, Yuyang was a prominent city, maintaining great independence both economically and militarily. The successive taishou are also very famous, among which Han Anguo, who served as a general and taishou in the early Western Han Dynasty, is a literary talent and martial artist, able to speak well, "Shiji", "Book of Han" and other classics have a high evaluation of Han Anguo, especially the two idioms that have been passed down to this day, "the end of the strong, the arrow cannot wear Lu Wei" and "resurrection" are from his mouth.

In addition, according to historical records, Guyan City is also in Huairou District, on the bank of Yanqi River in Yanqi Town, where an ancient street has now been built for tourists to visit. Some scholars have speculated that the famous "Jing Ke's assassination of the King of Qin" plan was brewed in Yancheng in northern Huairou.
