Last time, Xiaobian has given you an inventory of a wave of countries / regions where Chinese ordinary passports can enter visa-free/visa-on-arrival, and you can poke the link to take a look at it if you haven't seen it. After the article was issued, there was a message from a friend, wanting to see which countries can be entered visas such as the United States/Canada/Schengen countries that were previously handled by the boss. Don't hurry up and arrange it for everyone!

First, let's explain to Xiaobai what a multiple-entry visa is.

  • What is a multiple-entry visa?

In simple terms, it means that after obtaining a visa, travelers can visit the visa-issuing country multiple times during a certain period of validity without having to submit the application repeatedly.

Since the United States announced the 10-year visa opening to Chinese travelers at the end of 2014, the United States, Canada, Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and other countries that have opened multiple-entry visas or relaxed the conditions for multiple-entry visa applications to Chinese travelers include the United States, Canada, Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and so on.

  • What are the benefits of a multiple-entry visa?

1. Save the visa fee and time required for repeated application, and make it more convenient to travel to and from the visa country.

2. Holders of multiple-entry visas for specific countries can enter other designated countries without visa, which is also the embodiment of the gold content of multi-entry visas.

3. It can be used as supplementary materials for other visa applications to increase the issuance rate.

  • How do I apply for a multiple-entry visa?

After the start of outbound travel, passport processing has gradually resumed in various places, and the visa agency company on Ctrip Fliggy has also begun to accept it. If you have previous experience in visa delivery/exit, you can prepare visa information according to the requirements of various countries, and if you want to save worry and effort, you can spend money to find an agent.

Let's take a look at the countries/regions where multiple entry visas can be visa-free/visa-on-arrival.

2 Schengen visa

A Schengen visa is a visa issued under the Schengen Agreement, and a visa issued by any Schengen member state is considered valid in all other member states without the need to apply for a separate visa. In other words, as long as you have applied for a visa to one Schengen country, you can freely enter and leave other Schengen countries.

The Schengen countries currently have 27 member states, including France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Malta and Liechtenstein, and Croatia will officially join the Schengen Area on January 1, 2023.

Schengen visas have a high gold content, but it is also necessary to pay attention to the principle of the main country and the principle of the first visit. The principle of the main visiting country is that if you need to go to more than one Schengen country at the same time, you should apply for a Schengen visa at the embassy or consulate of the country with the longest stay in China; The principle of first visit is that if you need to visit more than one Schengen country at the same time, and each country has the same length of stay, you should apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate of the country of first entry in China. In addition, the principle of the main visiting country is superior to the principle of the first visiting country.

In addition, some non-Schengen countries recognize Schengen visas because they are applying to join the Schengen area and integrate policies in advance; Some countries rely on the screening process in the Schengen area, such as South Korea. Generally, these countries require a valid Schengen visa (not a transit visa) for multiple entries, or a permanent residence identity document from a Schengen member state.
