This is Huawei's first large foreign order in 2023, and it is understood that Turkmenistan is a Central Asian country with a population of 5.72 million and a land area of 491,200 square kilometers.
In any case, it is important that Huawei can win the order from Turkmenistan. On the one hand, it proves that Huawei's communication technology is recognized, and on the other hand, it provides support for Huawei to obtain orders from more countries. For example, in the coal mining field, Huawei helped mining enterprises build a 5G intelligent control system to control underground excavation facilities and production line conveyor belts through remote operation. There is no need to manually go to the ground, and efficient mining can be achieved.
5G has the characteristics of low latency and high transmission, not simply to improve the Internet speed for ordinary users, but to achieve a wide range of value applications in the industry. This is Huawei's 5GToB business model, Huawei has won more than 3,000 5GToB orders, and I believe that it will achieve greater order returns in the future.
In terms of operating system business, Huawei has developed two operating systems, Hongmeng and Euler, and donated them. The purpose of this is to allow industry ecosystem partners to participate in the construction of the operating system, improve the ecosystem, and promote more commercial distribution system versions to the market.
The good side is that domestic manufacturers have built one Internet of Things operating system after another based on open source Hongmeng, which can be used in various terminal devices.
