Guangzhou defender Wu Shaocong has agreed with Turkish side Basaksel Istanbul to play for the current third-ranked Turkish Super League team. Istanbul Basaksel officially announced the arrival of Wu Shaocong, which is also the third player (first team) in the Chinese player after Li Lei and Liu Shao Ziyang.
Wu Shaocong had previously died in Japan, but at the beginning of 2019, Wu Shaocong chose to return to China and joined Guangzhou Evergrande at the time, and entered the first team of the Guangzhou team in the summer of 2019. During his time with the Guangzhou team, Wu Shaocong became the main defensive force of the Guangzhou team and was selected for the national football team in early 2022.
