At the same time as Riddle opened fire, a woman with Riddle locked herself in the bathroom of her hotel room and didn't come out until police arrived at the scene. Police said they interrogated the gunman before arresting him. Riddle told police he saw "aliens" in the parking lot and shot them. Police found Riddle a formerly convicted felon who owned two pistols and a semi-automatic rifle.
According to police, Riddle is now charged with multiple charges, including four counts of wanton endangering the safety of police officers, multiple counts of criminal mischief and serious criminals of illegal gun possession.
