Through multiple sensors installed on the outside and inside of the train, the monitoring room can realize the real-time monitoring of nine major systems: power supply system, air conditioning system, undercarriage power supply, anti-skid, axle reporter, door system, pyrotechnic system, brake system, and bogie. For example, if the door of the carriage is not closed, or if there is a firework, the monitoring room will show that the door is not closed or the fireworks are abnormal. At this time, the engineer can find and troubleshoot the fault in the first place.
The running train can also send the monitoring data back to the Urumqi depot data headquarters through the data link, so that even if the vehicle is thousands of miles away, in the headquarters data center, it can know the running status of the vehicle to ensure the absolute operation safety of the vehicle.

The reporter saw the 160km/h logo on the outer carriage of the "Southern Xinjiang Star" intercity train, which refers to the "Southern Xinjiang Star" operating speed of up to 160 kilometers per hour, which is the second only train in Xinjiang to the 200 kilometers per hour of the train, and it is precisely because of the speed that the full running time from Urumqi to Korla can be shortened to more than 4 hours.
