It has been more than a year since my last trip, and at this moment, listening to the sound of the baby's sleeping breathing, my heart is calm, and I can't spend the world of two with my husband happily for a long time. Then let's reminisce about the last summer vacation trip.
On July 4, 2021, I finally ended the tedious work of a semester, went home to pack my luggage, waited for my husband to leave work, and after eating, I took a taxi to the hotel near Xiaoshan Airport, because I booked a flight at 6:45 in the morning.
Day1: Lanzhou
The tour group of the Qinggan-Da Ring Road was booked in advance, and after getting off the plane, I was taken to the hotel. The plan for the first day is to feel the scenery and food of Lanzhou. After putting down my luggage, I went to the neighborhood with my husband to find food, and found a fat mother finger restaurant, the hand grasp lamb and eight treasure cover bowl tea are very good, highly recommended (ps: the northern cuisine is very sufficient).
After dinner, I took a nap, and in the afternoon, I went slowly to Zhongshan Bridge, overlooking the Yellow River, climbed Baita Mountain, and sat in the park to drink Michelle Ice City, when there were very few stores in Hangzhou Mixue Ice City. Near the evening, I took a taxi to Zhengning Road Night Market to taste various snacks. After queuing for a long time to buy milk and egg mash, the two people were afraid of water and soil and stomach discomfort, just tasted a few bites, but the taste was very good.
Day2: Colorful Danxia
The next day began to follow the group, passing through the Menyuan rape flower field, looking at the Gangshka Snow Peak and Qilian Steppe from afar, today's focus is on the colorful danxia, the magic of nature, like knocking over a paint bucket, colorful.
Day3: Crescent Spring and Singing Sand Mountain
On the third day, we arrived at Crescent Spring and Mingsha Mountain, so if you want to hike in the desert, you must buy desert boots. Otherwise, wear sneakers into the sand, wear slippers to burn your feet. In Mingsha Mountain, my husband also lost the life-saving water cup. In the afternoon, I went to the Mogao Grottoes, there were too many people, basically I just lined up to enter the cave for a walk, not interested in Buddhist culture, so I took a few glances and rested outside.
After seeing the Mogao Grottoes, get to the most anticipated part, go camel riding, ride ATV, and eat roasted whole sheep. When riding a camel, I always worry that it will throw me off, ATV is very exciting, especially when going downhill, crossing the sand, if you don't hold on to the handle, you will really be turned upside down.
Day4: Emerald Lake
The Emerald Lake is still in a state of initial development, but the scenery is also beautiful, and along the way, the eyes are full of aunts taking pictures in various poses with scarves.
Day5: Chaka Salt Lake
One of the most anticipated attractions of this trip, and the experience is also the most memorable. Even if it was cloudy on the day of the visit, it was still windy and rainy, it was obviously a hot July, but you needed to wear a down jacket in Chaka Salt Lake that day. My husband and I didn't even have coats, the umbrella was blown by the wind and couldn't cover the rain, and our clothes and shoes were wet. The beauty of the sky mirror was not felt, but it became two falling soup chickens, shivering and taking a small train to their destination, taking a few photos in the cold wind and hastily ending the viewing of this attraction.
Day6: Qinghai Lake
Fortunately, the weather on the day of going to Qinghai Lake is quite powerful, although it is cloudy but occasionally sunny, so as not to make us regret. In the afternoon, I went to the Tibetan village to experience Tibetan culture and listen to Dolma tell her wedding story. In the evening, go to a Tibetan-style house to enjoy a Tibetan-style earthen hot pot, turn the bell to pray for blessings, and participate in a bonfire party to end the journey.
Another reason why this trip was impressive was the tossing homecoming. We were scheduled to fly from Lanzhou to Beijing at 8 a.m. on July 12, but we received a text message at 3 a.m. saying that due to weather conditions, the flight to Beijing was suspended, and we immediately adjusted the route to transfer through Nanjing, fortunately, there was still time. But ten days later, the epidemic broke out at Nanjing Airport, and my husband and I successively received calls from the epidemic prevention and control department in our hometown to dissuade us from returning to our hometown, and the community epidemic prevention and control commissioner informed us that we wanted 14+7, plus three negative nucleic acid reports. Fortunately, 14 days have passed since the outbreak of the epidemic, so I avoided going to the hotel for centralized quarantine.
I don't know when and where my next trip will be scheduled, but it's worth looking forward to!
