When he heard that a young Spaniard traveling alone was passing through his territory, he pretended to be kind, sent his men to escort him, and then secretly instructed them to conduct experiments.
When the Spaniards and the chief's men rose to a river, and since there were no bridges and boats, pedestrians had to swim or swim to cross the river if they wanted to cross the river, and the Indians excused themselves to cross the river on their backs so as not to wet his clothes, to which the young Spaniard readily agreed. So the Indians carried him on their shoulders and carried him across the river, and when they reached the middle of the river, the Indians quickly let the Spaniards fall into the water, and then pounced on him and pressed him under the water until he ran out of air.
