Liu Jianchao said that the world is in an era full of challenges, but also an era full of hope. Wang Bo, Vice President of Beijing Institute of Technology, delivered a speech as the representative of the winners of the Excellent Organization Award, saying that this event has built a stage for international students in China to learn from each other and show a good spiritual outlook, and hoped that young people from all over the world will take this as an opportunity to make good use of appreciation, mutual learning and sharing to view the world, promote the harmonious coexistence of different civilizations, and actively contribute to the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
Speaking as representatives of award-winning international students, such as Sapur, a doctoral student at Peking University, and Yuri Yamagawa, a master's student of Beijing University of Foreign Chinese, they said that studying in China not only learned a wealth of knowledge, appreciated the Chinese culture that embodies the wisdom of human civilization, but also witnessed China's great achievements in various fields in the new era. In particular, I have recently been fortunate enough to experience the successful holding of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and I have further realized that the Communist Party of China is a party that seeks happiness for the Chinese and the people, and also a party that strives to promote the progress of human causes. I would like to thank the Chinese side for holding this event and building a platform for cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, hoping to have a deeper understanding of China, introduce the real China to the world, and contribute to the enhancement of Sino-foreign friendship.
The atmosphere of the award ceremony was warm, and Chinese and foreign youth representatives collaborated and interacted, and performed talent performances such as calligraphy, acrobatics, musical instruments, songs, and poetry reading. The "Feel China's New Era" essay, photography and short video competition was held from March to October 2022, and received a total of 3,688 entries from international students from 133 countries studying in 196 universities in China, of which 105 won the first, second and third prizes, and works such as "Feel the New Era of China, The City of Two Olympic Games Shines Brilliantly" won the first prize.
