On November 23, the 11th Women's Congress of Fengtai County was held in the conference room of the county conference center. Liu Jusheng, secretary of the county party committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Xiong Shouhong, Ma Shiping, Xu Guangshu, Liu Miao, Liao Xin, and Wang Zhaowen, leaders of several leading bodies of the county, attended the meeting. Wang Yi, chairman of the Municipal Women's Federation, congratulated the meeting and put forward specific requirements for the work of the Women's Federation in our county. Ye Yisheng, deputy secretary of the county party committee and director of the organization department, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives of the group delivered congratulatory speeches. The responsible person of the county women's federation made a work report on behalf of the 10th executive committee of the Fengtai County Women's Federation. The meeting elected the members of the 11th Executive Committee of the Fengtai County Women's Federation by voting. The meeting adopted by a show of hands the "Election Measures of the 11th Fengtai County Women's Congress", "List of Presidium Members, Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General of the 11th Fengtai County Women's Congress", "Resolution on the Work Report of the 11th Fengtai County Women's Congress" and other methods and resolutions. The meeting also elected the chairman, vice chairman, temporary vice chairman, part-time vice chairman and standing committee member of the 11th county women's federation by voting.
Liu Jusheng pointed out in his speech that since the 10th Women's Congress of Fengtai County, the county party committee and the county government have always attached great importance to and supported women's work, and women's cause has flourished and women's status has steadily improved. Women's federations at all levels have done a lot of work in political guidance, service guarantees, and rights protection in accordance with the law, closely focusing on the overall situation of the county's work, and promoting the healthy development of women's and children's causes. The vast number of women comrades keep up with the pace of the times, actively participate in the practice of reform and development, and make contributions in all walks of life, showing their outstanding demeanor. The county party committee is satisfied with the work of the women's federation and fully affirms the efforts and dedication of the vast number of women comrades in the county.
Liu Jusheng stressed that the vast number of women should study hard, improve their quality, strive to start a business, realize value, carry forward virtues, advocate new trends, and play the role of "half the sky". Women's federations should stabilize their political direction, do a good job in ensuring services, safeguard women's rights and interests, and play the role of "bridges." The county party committee and the county government will, as always, attach importance to and support the cause of women, promptly coordinate and solve the difficulties and problems encountered in the work, and provide a strong guarantee for the work of the women's federation. Party organizations at all levels should, in accordance with the overall requirements of "party building leading women's building and women's building serving party building," earnestly put women's work on their important agendas, and support women's federations in carrying out their work independently and creatively in accordance with laws and charters. All sectors of society should actively care for and vigorously support women's work, jointly create a good social atmosphere, and strive to build a work pattern of "party committee leadership, government support, women's federation coordination, and participation of all parties".
