Cyprus Energy Minister Natasa Pilides has released the official logo of Cyprus Made. According to reports, the logo is a special mark for local products in Cyprus and aims to increase exports in the coming years.

The sign consists of lines and triangles that shape the image of the map outline of Cyprus into a mosaic (mosaic decorative art). The arrangement of the blocks that make up the logo is so that their corners point in all directions, conveying the message that Cypriot products can reach the whole world.

According to Natasa Pilides, exports of domestic products in Cyprus have increased by almost 50% from 2016 to 2021 and the new "Made in Cyprus, Unique Origin" logo is another important tool for the country's economy, reinforcing the continuous and unremitting efforts made in recent years to promote Cypriot products. The logo will enhance the competitiveness and recognition of Cypriot products through a strong visual identity, highlighting their uniqueness, quality and authenticity, allowing consumers to distinguish authenticity.

In the first phase, the mark will be awarded to industrially manufactured products such as pharmaceuticals, plastics, metal structures, cosmetics, electronic devices and crafts, including embroidery and ceramics. At a later stage, the logo will be extended to other categories of products, namely agricultural products such as food and wine.
