1. Zaanse Schans Windmill Village

Located 15 km north of Amsterdam. Its ancient architecture vividly depicts Dutch life in the 17th and 18th centuries.

There are five windmills in the village, which are used for sawmilling, oil pressing, dyeing, mustard powder and water lifting, as well as a shoe factory, a cheese workshop, a boat dock and an ash shop, showing the traditional Dutch way of life.

When you stand in front of a green field, it's hard to imagine that 250 years ago there were more than 800 ancient windmills in Zaanse Schans, densely packed in rows and spinning all day long, transporting Holland to future times.

2. Dam Square

Not far from the central train station, it is arguably the starting point of the city center of Amsterdam and the most vibrant place in the entire city.

It has been the political and commercial center of the city for centuries, with former town halls, metrology offices and markets stationed here, as well as political disturbances for various reasons, such as provocative movements and the anti-Vietnam War.

Another striking building on the square is the Nationaal Monument, erected to commemorate the victims of Nazi persecution during World War II and held annually on May 5, Liberation Day.

6. Giethoorn Village

Located in the northwestern province of Overijssel in the Netherlands, within the De Wieden Nature Reserve. During the Ice Age, De Wieden was located between two moraine zones, so the terrain was lower than the surrounding area. Giethoorn is known as the "Green Venice" (also known as the "Dutch Venice").

The roofs of the houses here are made of reeds, which is more durable than any building materials, and the service life is more than 40 years, and it is warm in winter and cool in summer, rainproof and suntight.

The best way to experience Giethoorn is, of course, to take a canal tour, take a punt wooden boat through the peaceful village, and listen to the boatman and guide explain the history and characteristics of each house.

7. Royal Palace Amsterdam

Located in Amsterdam, it is one of the four royal palaces of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, used by Queen Beatrix by an act of parliament.

This beautiful palace, which represents traditional Dutch architecture, was designed from 1648 to 1655 by Jaco Wang Campen. In 1808, Napoleon became King of the Netherlands and was used as a royal palace until his abdication two years later.

The façade of the palace gives the impression of being strict and square. The triangular eyebrow carvings on the top of the windows on the fifth floor are the work of Anweisa-born sculptor Ah Kleinen, and the carvings depict the prosperity of Amsterdam surrounded by sea gods and sea spirits, and the exterior matches the octagonal tower building of the dome above the roof.

8. Amsterdam Canal

With a total length of more than 100 km, around 90 islands and 1,500 bridges, Amsterdam is known as the "Venice of the North".

At the beginning of the 17th century, at the height of migration, a comprehensive plan was put into practice, namely the simultaneous excavation of four major concentric semi-circular canals, all ending at IJ Bay, called the Grachtengordel. The shores of the three canals (Gentlemen's Canal, Kaisercan, and Prinsengracht) were mainly residential, while the outer fourth canal, Zinghel, today Nassau/Stadehowde, was used for defense and water treatment (which has now been converted into residential and commercial developments).

The Amsterdam Canal Belt is unique in the world as a work of art in urban construction and architectural design, and is a concrete embodiment of the political, economic and cultural flourishing of Amsterdam during the Dutch "Golden Age".

IX. Dehar Castle

A small town called Haaruilens, located near the Dutch city of Utrecht. Dehar Castle is a typical European medieval castle, with a pointed tower, a moat surrounded by a palace-like garden and a suspension bridge, like a fantasy castle in a fairy tale world.

There is a hint of solemnity in the classics. Built in the 18th century and remodeled in the 19th century, it is owned by the family of the world-class billionaire Rothschild. Except for the family's summer shelter and winter self-use and mansion, the rest of the place will be open to the public.

Since there are many antiques and precious works of art in the castle, and the passage is complicated, you must follow the commentary group to enter the tour, and children are generally not allowed to enter to avoid accidents.
