On November 9th, under the guidance of Shenzhen Luohu District Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the GUILD "Aurora Radiance" International Jewelry Competition was officially launched by the world's authoritative gem identification and evaluation institutions - GUILD Gem Laboratory and Gilder Gemmological Education (hereinafter referred to as "GUILD"), and co-sponsored by Shenzhen Jewelry Industry Service Co., Ltd.
The competition brought together an expert jury composed of many gemstone industry leaders and representatives from all over the world, and joined hands with the industry jury composed of outstanding representatives, experts and scholars in the domestic industry to form a super lineup of judges. The jury will determine the finalists based on color, size, clarity, cut, carat weight, design innovation, and presentation of cutting and mounting techniques.
Industry leaders at home and abroad, international first-line design experts, well-known domestic gemologists, top cutting masters and industry leaders gathered together to witness this pinnacle showdown of gemstones with industry peers.

President of the Gilder Gemmological Education and Training Institute
Andrew Lucas, President of Gilder's Gemological Education and Training and Senior Vice President of Gilder Laboratories, has a strong reputation in the global gem industry, has received numerous government awards, and has taught courses in more than 50 countries and territories around the world, specializing in all aspects of the jewelry industry such as colored gemstones, pearls, diamonds and gem processing. He is still the only gemologist in the world who can offer and teach all of these courses, and with more than 30 years of industry experience, he is the world's most active and well-known field gemologist and gemological educator, and the founder of field gemology from Mine to Market.

Bryan Moss is the founder and owner of Brevard Designs, a jeweler favored by Hollywood stars. He was a master modelmaker at Van Cleef & Arpels and the youngest design course instructor employed by GIA's Gemological Institute.
Bryan Moss works with top colored gem cutters to make custom cuts and is known for incorporating a wide variety of colored gemstones into his jewelry collections. His jewelry designs have appeared in many movies and television series and have been worn by many well-known movie stars including Elizabeth Taylor and Candace Bergman.

Professor Cao Yang is the president of Shenzhen Gold and Jewelry Culture Research Association; Senior Economist; Director of Shenzhen Gold and Jewelry Research Institute; Director of Precious Metals and Jewelry and Jade Standards Alliance, Distinguished Industry Consultant of Graduate School of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen. As a star scholar in the industry, Professor Cao Yang has in-depth research on macro fields such as world situation, economic environment, and industry trend development, as well as micro fields such as wholesale, sales, and channels.

Glenn Lehrer is a member of the American Gem Trade Association, served as a director of AGTA for 10 years, and was awarded an honorary life member of the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) for his outstanding contributions. Internationally recognized as one of the finest contemporary gem cutters and jewelry engravers, and a legend in gem art, his jewelry and gemstone designs have won many prestigious industry awards, including ten Spectrum Awards, the NITCH Award and awards from the prestigious Idar Oberstein Gem Carvers Association of Germany.
