That year, when the ginkgo was falling, my family moved from a county seat to the current city. Therefore, I also transferred from the elementary school in the county seat to the school near my new home. The headmistress is my neighbor and best friend, so I am treated favorably at that school.
The two things that impressed me the most: every day when I came home from school, I had to pass two tall and handsome ginkgo trees, the leaves of which were golden and one of them was full of fruit; Another thing, of course, is the roar of the train - my house is about five hundred meters away from the Longhai Railway in a straight line.
My family lives in an institutional compound with several apple orchards in addition to two ginkgo trees, as well as dozens of pear and walnut trees – because it was winter, and the apples, pears, and walnuts were already past the harvest season, so I missed the seasonal vegetables.
But it's also nice to be able to get to know the ginkgo tree and witness the fall of ginkgo leaves and fruits. Suddenly, one evening after school, I found that there were not many leaves left on the ginkgo branches, and the thick layer of leaves that fell on the ground was swept into two piles and packed in bags, and it was inevitable that there was a little loss and sadness - not long after, my family moved into a family home next to the wall, and gradually ignored the growth and fall of ginkgo.
When the following spring came, I found a lilac tree next to the courtyard gate, and the clusters of flowers gave off an elegant fragrance, and even if I had to pass through that intersection when entering the compound, I was accustomed to the silence of the ginkgo tree.
Later, my family moved out of the family home... When I walked into the compound again a few years later, the two ginkgo trees and several orchards had disappeared and were replaced by new office buildings. The ginkgo trees in my vision have become the main body of greenery in the city, but from time to time the shadows of the two tall and handsome ginkgo trees appear in my mind...
