1 "Ghost Town"
The story takes place in 1943, when the repeated aggression of the Japanese army broke the quiet life of the Korean people, and for a time the smoke of war was everywhere, and the people lost their homes and lived a miserable life of displacement. 4 "Nobody Knows"
A mother and four half-siblings move into a new apartment. The mother announced that her husband had gone overseas to work and that she and her son were living together. These children do not go to school, and every day the mother locks them in her room and goes out to work on her own. The eldest son, Ming, 12, is responsible for housework and caring for several younger siblings. One night, my mother returned home drunk and disappeared the next morning, leaving only 200,000 yen and a note for Ming, "I'm going out for a while, Kyoko, Shigeru, and Snow will please you."
