Tonight I watched a very warm movie called LIke Sunday, Like Rain.
A rich boy whose talent does not match his age and a scrawled young woman who is tormented by life. Through months of getting along, there is a friendship across the age that others cannot imagine, a family affection that exceeds friendship, and a feeling that is like love but cannot be defined as love. It is so wonderful between people, there are people who have been together all their lives but have never understood each other, and some people have penetrated each other in the moment of encounter.
The story is that the little boy's nanny suddenly leaves her job and needs to find a new person to take care of her living life, and the young woman comes to the house because she is fired by the restaurant owner and is in urgent need of work. The little boy cannot integrate into the world of his peers because of his different talents, and it is difficult to get along with adults, but the two see each other at first sight. The film simply records the encounter between the two, but enhances the interaction on a spiritual level. The little boy healed her tiredness and despair; and she made the little boy no longer alone.
The film is slow and gentle, warming the heart and wetting the eyes. Seeing both of them, you will know that some people can illuminate you and warm you just by meeting this province. Loneliness is the norm, but there will always be someone who will warm you. May we all meet such people, light up your world, and become a better place.
