Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Donets' sought-after star Mikajlo Mudlik for a transfer fee of possibly up to €100 million. Renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Arsenal are among the clubs vying for Mudrick and the 21-year-old Ukraine international is also interested in joining the Emirates Stadium. Romano said Mudric is now worth around 65 million euros and his value seems to continue to rise. Sources from The Althletic say Arsenal may need to pay up to €100 million to Shakhtar Donetsk if they want to win Mudrick's transfer competition.
BBC Sport said that if Arsenal signed Mudrick for 100 million euros, it would set a record for the Gunners, surpassing the price they bought for Nicolas Pepe in 2019. If Arsenal can sign a good player like Modric to bolster the team's attack, they will do better than they are now, because Arteta currently lacks enough depth in attack.
Arsenal have had a perfect start to the season and are currently at the top of the Premier League table, but will struggle to find replacements if Saca, Jesus or Martinelli suffer a prolonged injury.
