Huang Wanqiu, born in 1943, played in the movie "Liu Sanjie", a member of the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a national first-class actor, a winner of the National Virtue and Art Shuangxin Lifetime Achievement Award, one of the first experts to enjoy special allowances of the State Council, a famous Chinese performing artist, and a inheritor of intangible cultural heritage at the Guangxi and Guilin levels.

Just like the beautiful, brave and kind Liu Sanjie in the movie, the real Wan Qiu is still gentle after experiencing vicissitudes, and the original intention of joining the party after a long period of hardship is still firm, leading by example in her acting career, filial piety and love in life. We have walked hand in hand for half a century, and in my heart, she is the eternal Liu Sanjie.
She had been in tears when she took the oath to join the party
We've been married for half a century. From her marriage in 1972 to her rehabilitation in 1985, Wanqiu experienced too many hardships and suffered grievances during that time, but she still wrote many applications to join the party, and her determination to join the Chinese Communist Party was very firm.
In 1978, the movie "Liu Sanjie" was re-screened, and she could perform on stage in the Guilin City Song and Dance Troupe, and began to apply to join the Communist Party. However, due to various reasons, her application to join the party was still not approved. However, at the thought of being able to take the stage again, she encouraged herself to continue to do a good job in literary and artistic work with gratitude for the organization.
Until 1982, when she did not succeed in joining the party, she wrote another application and went to the Guangxi Film Studio to make a film. One day, I wrote to tell her that there were 6 people in the song and dance troupe who applied to join the party, and 3 people who were not approved, and you were one of them. Later, I learned that everyone was studying the script together, and she suddenly burst into tears when she saw the letter. The director was startled and asked her if there was something wrong at home.
Wan Qiu cried and showed the director the letter, saying, "I failed to join the Communist Party again." The director comforted her and said that this is the organization testing you, you don't have to be too sad, there are many opportunities in the future. She has not been able to join the party many times, and I know that her ideological baggage has increased, and she often participates in performances, but she has never given up her original intention of joining the party.
Later, I said that we should leave Guilin City and change to a new environment, and then I would contact the leaders of Shenzhen Television Station and Pearl River Film Studio, who welcomed us to work. At this time, our application report was handed over to the desk of the leader of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, who tried his best to retain it, and instructed us to "quickly adjust Nanning", so we were transferred from Guilin City to Guangxi Film Studio, and then we stayed in the Guangxi Song and Dance Troupe.
In the second year of the Guangxi Song and Dance Troupe, the masses elected Wan Qiu as the deputy leader. Embarked on a new job, she continued to apply to join the party. I remember that the leader of the department asked with doubts, why could Not Huang Wanqiu join the Party at that time? When she was young, she was a deputy to the Guilin Municipal People's Congress, and she was also an advanced member of the Guilin Song and Dance Troupe, and she was an "award-winning household" every year. Finally, after an assessment, the party group of the Cultural Affairs Agency approved her application to join the party.
I remember the scene where she took the oath to join the party very clearly. On July 1, 1985, she went to Mount Faka to offer condolences and swore an oath to join the Communist Party of China with the soldiers in the tunnels. I saw on television that she had been in tears when she took the oath, that she could still read the first sentence or two, and that she could not cry when she read the third sentence, and that she was crying intermittently and saying two words.
I know, she has mixed feelings. Later, she said to me: "I remembered the past, remembered my difficulties, and finally swore an oath to join the party at Mount Faka, and I really couldn't help myself, and I burst into tears." ”
She rushed to the hospital to sing for the seriously ill old Red Army
In 1991, we were transferred back to Guilin from Nanning City, and Wan Qiu served as the deputy director of the Guilin Municipal Bureau of Culture. One day, the vice president of the 181 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army found her through the Cultural Affairs Bureau, and hurriedly and earnestly said that he hoped that we could sing a few words for an old Red Army who was about to die, and he wanted to see Liu Sanjie.
Without saying a word, we rushed to the ward as quickly as possible, and saw that the old Red Army had been intubated, but still conscious, and greeted us with his hands. The old Red Army said intermittently: "I like Liu Sanjie the most, I am so happy to see you today, can I hear you sing a song?" "We sang three songs for him and talked with him for 20 minutes, and he was so happy that tears were hanging from the corners of his eyes.
In 2003, we founded the "Liu Sanjie Landscape Park", and 16 generals came at that time. After watching the performance, the generals must take a photo with Wanqiu, and joke that they don't charge money for taking photos with the third sister, right? Wan Qiu said that the generals have given everything for the establishment of new China, and it is my honor to be able to perform for you.
The general asked her, are you a member of the Communist Party? Wan Qiu said radiantly, "I am a communist!" I joined the Party on July 1, 1985, and I took the oath at Mount Faka! ”
At that time, a lot of group photos were taken, and the generals sent the photos to Wanqiu after they went back, and they all had their inscriptions on the back: "You are the artist of the people", "Third sister, we will always love you", "I hope you take care of yourself, Chinese art needs you"...
Wan Qiu's artistic performance was affirmed by the generals, and she was happy. I think this shows Wan qiu's sincere heart as a Communist Party member. The identity of a Communist Party member is a kind of faith in her heart, and it also runs through her artistic life.

She went abroad to perform every day hungry to sign autographs for the audience
Wan Qiu has a high popularity among overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese. Once, we toured Singapore and Malaysia and the venue was full. It was very hot over there, and there were a lot of performances, sometimes two or three times a day. Every time the costumes were soaked, the costumers had to dry the costumes. Even every day, she still called on the party members in the regiment to play an exemplary and leading role, not to be afraid of hardships, but to be responsible.
During the performance at the National Theatre in Singapore, many people gathered around the venue waiting for Wan Qiu to sign, we signed two, and the police let us get on the bus. Seeing that the audience was so enthusiastic, we discussed and decided not to eat dinner and save that hour to sign autographs for the audience. We were inside the railing, and the audience kept handing out books and photos from outside, and the enthusiastic scene made people cry. We continued to go hungry after the show and signed autographs for the audience for 8 nights in a row.
In her long-term artistic work, Wan Qiu is such an actor who always keeps in mind her identity as a communist party member, as long as she sees the audience, as long as she can be on the stage, no matter how tired she is, she has no regrets.

She was named "Top Ten Filial Pieties in China's Performing Arts"
I am the only son in my family, and she has been very filial to my parents for decades of marriage. Until the death of her mother in 1989, the relationship between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law was very harmonious. My father fell seriously ill in his later years, and she always helped me at bedside to do my filial piety. My family lived in the suburbs, and I used to cook wood, and the smoke was so big that it brought her to tears every time, but she didn't complain half a word and waited until her father died.
I had a dad who was particularly good to me, a five-guarantee household, who lived next door, and later, my dad's house was demolished, and we let him live in the house. He suffered from pneumonia in his later years, coughing non-stop every day, and then so serious that he didn't even have the strength to spit, Wanqiu used paper to help him wipe phlegm, and sometimes poured and urine, I think her filial piety is really very rare.
My parents-in-law raised a total of 8 children, life is difficult, Wanqiu began to work at the age of 13, when the salary was only 9 yuan, she took out 5 yuan to give to the family. After getting married, she often gave half of her salary to help her parents, I didn't care too much, and I also supported her filial piety to her parents. Once, my father-in-law was seriously ill and hospitalized, and the operation required advance payment, and the brothers and sisters pooled their money together, but Wanqiu insisted that she give more. Father-in-law's teeth were not very good, after the operation can not eat, she boiled porridge every day to the ward to feed him bite by bite, has been insisting for two months, until the father-in-law recovered and discharged home to recuperate.
Wan qiu has won many honors in her artistic career, one of which is the title of "The Sixth Top Ten Filial Pieties in The Chinese Performing Arts Industry". Looking back at the path of life she has traveled, Wanqiu said that she just did what she wanted to do the most.
