One night in 1949, the enemy brutally killed Jiang after knowing that he could not get any valuable information from her. At that time, Sister Jiang was only 29 years old.
In fact, Sister Jiang should have witnessed the founding of New China, but she was unfortunately arrested and imprisoned because of the traitor's betrayal, and finally killed. And the traitor who betrayed Sister Jiang is called Pu Huafu, one of the prototypes of Fu Zhigao in "Red Rock".
We often say "marry a chicken with a chicken and marry a dog with a dog". After Pu Huafu became a traitor, her wife should not be much better. However, his wife is still alive and well respected by the countrymen. So what exactly did she do?
In his early years, Guo Dexian joined the party. Because she had read books and had a certain culture, she had been engaged in dangerous underground work as a teacher in the party. Just a few years after she joined the party, she married Pu Huafu, who was also a party member.
After getting married, the two stayed in their hometown of Sichuan to continue their revolutionary work. After giving birth to his daughter Xiaobo in 1944, Guo Dexian was overwhelmed by the burden on his body. Fortunately, she was very relieved to have her husband and children by her company.
As the saying goes, "a thousand precautions are difficult for people's hearts to prevent". And this sentence could not be more appropriate for Guo Dexian. Although she was not afraid to endure hardships for the revolutionary cause, she overcame many difficulties. However, her husband was a man who could not endure hardships and had a weak revolutionary will.
One day in January 1949, her husband Pu Huafu went out and did not return for the whole day. Guo Dexian suddenly felt bad. At the time, she didn't know what was going to happen, she just had a bad feeling. So she made a quick decision, quickly found out some confidential documents in her custody, and threw them all into the brazier.
Just after the things were burned, Guo Dexian's door was smashed open, and the Kuomintang people came to the door. She and her young daughter were put into a car bound for the secret service camp.
Why was Guo Dexian exposed? It turned out that it was her husband Pu Huafu who betrayed her.
On the morning of January 13, 1949, Pu Huafu was followed by secret agents while he was out. However, after discovering the abnormality, he did not try to get rid of the spies, but fled into the home of his comrade-in-arms Han Bingjiao to hide, and finally he was arrested together with Han Bingjiao. Under the severe torture of the enemy, Pu Huafu became a traitor. He gave an account to Sister Jiang and more than 80 other underground workers of our party. What's even more infuriating is that he even confessed to his wife Guo Dexian.
Knowing that her husband betrayed herself, Guo Dexian was very sad, but fortunately in prison, she met her former comrades-in-arms, and with their encouragement, Guo Dexian came out of the pain and strengthened her beliefs. And the enemy tortured her many times, but Guo Dexian still did not give in.
In order to encourage comrades in prison, she not only put forward the slogan of "persisting in learning and welcoming liberation", but also organized fellow inmates to study and discuss together. Guo Dexian is also the main organizer of the "Behind Bars Poetry Society" in prison. In the extremely difficult prison, the Behind Bars Poetry Society has also become an important position for inspiration.
Later, Guo Dexian was transferred several times and finally imprisoned in the Bai Mansion in Chongqing. Among them, the patriotic general Huang Xiansheng was imprisoned here. Huang Xiansheng was treated favorably by his enemies in prison. He could read the newspaper, and he learned the news of the founding of New China from the newspaper, and he also knew that the national flag of New China was the five-star red flag. He shared the news he read from the newspaper with Guo Dexian next door.
Guo Dexian was overjoyed to hear the news, and soon the news spread throughout the prison, and finally they made a five-star red flag.
Recalling the events at that time, the old man Guo Dexian always burst into tears. "In the gloomy cell, comrades made a red-backed red flag, removed the embroidery, made a five-pointed star out of yellow paper, and pasted it on it," she said. ”
According to the original plan, after the liberation of Chongqing, the comrades imprisoned here would use this red flag to welcome the arrival of victory. However, more than 200 comrades fell in pools of blood before dawn.
On November 27, 1949, the enemy was like a trapped beast and had no strength to resist. The desperate enemy turned his butcher's knife on the revolutionaries who were imprisoned in their cells. The massacre continued from 4 p.m. until late at night.
In the cell of the White Mansion, 19 people, including Luo Guangbin, Guo Dexian, the author of the novel "Red Rock", lived. Originally, these nineteen people were also doomed. Fortunately, at this critical juncture, Luo Guangbin countered the guard, Yang Qindian.
Yang Qindian went to the local army in order to support his family, and he was assigned to the Bai Mansion as a guard. Luo Guangbin had been doing his job before and instigating him. At the critical moment when the enemy was slaughtering the revolutionaries, Yang Qindian secretly handed over the key to the cell to Luo Guangbin, and then went out to guard, and when there was no danger, he sent them a signal to escape.
At that time, Guo Dexian had already coaxed the two children to sleep. Just then, he heard footsteps in the corridor. She thought the massacre of the enemy had begun. After the cell door opened, he found that it was Luo Guangbin and others who came in.
Because many comrades were tortured at that time, some were seriously injured and could not escape. Luo Guangbin and Guo Dexian discussed and decided to divide the comrades into several groups. Comrades in good health helped the seriously injured to escape. In this way, everyone escaped together.
After Guo Dexian escaped from the White Mansion, he went straight to Gele Mountain barefoot, and I don't know how far he went, he came to a farmhouse. Guo Dexian told the old farmer that he had met bandits and wanted to ask them for a pair of shoes. He and his daughter put on their shoes and left in a hurry. It was not until 30 November that they found the "liaison office".
After liberation, Guo Dexian worked as a counselor in many primary and secondary schools, patiently educating these children and telling them about the hard-won victory of the revolution. Until the age of 95, Guo Dexian is still active in the front line of education. This is also why Guo Xiande is the wife of a traitor, but he is respected by the countrymen. Because in her heart, the faith in the revolution has never wavered. Even a butcher knife in the face of the enemy.
