Nawa Kohei
Born in 1975. Sculptor graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts majoring in sculpture. Associate Professor, Kyoto University of Art and Design. Based on the "PixCell" concept, which combines pixels and cells, he combines the characteristics of various materials such as polyurethane foam, glass beads, and prisms to create sculptures and spatial expressions with cutting-edge technology.
So far, the "PixCell" series is a plush toy covered with glass beads, and the "Trans" series is a series of sculptures created by applying various effects to the 3D scanning of the human body, with the theme "Information, Matter and Energy." ", 2013, 13-meter-high aluminum sculpture "Manifold" (2013), created in a virtual three-dimensional space.

"How did life in the universe come about and where did it go? Did it really come about by accident?
