On Saturday, at the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California, the former Victoria's Secret Angel Miranda Kerr opened up about her life as a mother of three.
She now has two children with her lover Evan Spiegel, 3-year-old Miles and 4-year-old Hart, and she and her ex-"Elf Prince" Orlando Bloom and an 11-year-old son, Flynn.
Now, she and her husband, Spiegel, may be considering expanding their family. In a feature in this summer's edition of Vogue, the former model-turned-health professional shared her "openness" to having more children. Asked if she and Spiegel, 32, had started bringing new members to their family, Miranda told PEOPLE at the event that her Snapchat CEO husband "has been trying to convince me."
"That's what's happening," she laughs, saying she thoroughly enjoys being a mother of three sons. "I see the world through the eyes of my children and understand that each of them sees the world differently," she explains. "Even though they are three boys and have grown up in similar environments, they all have different perspectives, I love learning with them, and the children's curiosity is so contagious."
In addition to being a mother and wife, the Australian beauty is a businesswoman with a thriving career, having founded her own health and beauty brand, KORA Organics. While struggling to find a balance between all her responsibilities, she makes sure her family is at the top of her to-do list.
"I'm really always committed to putting my family first, and spending time with my husband is very important to me," Miranda told PEOPLE. "My grandmother told me that you need to really put your husband first and really prioritize time together because she has four children and a lot of grandchildren. My grandma and grandpa were in love until the moment they died. They died 20 days apart. So she really has some great advice that making sure to spend time together and making connections is something you need to prioritize because that bond is what unites the whole family.
Finding time to spend with loved ones is crucial, and she shares that her children are "growing very fast every moment." "We have three children," she said. "The 11-year-old is already in secondary school, the 3-year-old is about to start going to kindergarten, and the 4-year-old just got an interview for kindergarten today. So everyone has their own little milestones. ”
