Early life
Bradley Cooper, born on January 5, 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, is an American film and television actor, director, screenwriter and producer.
His mother worked for a local NBC affiliate and his father was a stockbroker at a securities firm. Cooper's father is of Irish descent and his mother is of Italian descent.
Recalling his time as a child, Cooper said, "I've never had that 'oh, you're beautiful' life. When I was very young, people thought I was a girl because I looked like a girl – maybe because my mom would make my hair grow long.
Cooper excels at basketball and loves to cook: "I used to have friends who came over after kindergarten and I would cook for them. I'm proud to take anything in the fridge and make it into lasagna. ”
Initially Cooper wanted to study at the Valley of Virginia Military Academy and then go to Japan to become a ninja. His parents were initially apprehensive about his career choice, but they eventually changed their minds when they saw Cooper play the role of Joseph Merrick in an excerpt from the play The Elephant Man.

After graduating from high school in 1993, Cooper studied for a year at Villanova University before transferring to Georgetown University. He graduated magna laude from Georgetown University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
Acting career
Cooper has received several nominations, including 8 Academy Awards and 1 Tony Award, as well as 2 Grammy Awards and 1 BAFTA Award.
In 1999, Cooper began his career with a cameo role in the TV series Sex and the City. In 2000, he entered the Actors Studio to study the Master of Arts program. His film debut was the comedy "Hello Summer Camp" (2001). He first gained recognition as Will Tipin in the action TV show Female Spy (2001–2006) and played a supporting role in the comedy film The Wedding Proud (2005).
In 2009, he starred in The Hangover, a critically and commercially successful comedy, and released two sequels in 2011 and 2013. Cooper played a writer in the thriller Never Ending (2011) and a cop in the crime film Beyond the Pine Forest (2012), both roles that won critical acclaim.

In 2014, he played Joseph Merrick in the Broadway revival version of The Elephant Man, was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Drama Drama, and began voicing Rocket Raccoon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 2018, Cooper produced, wrote, directed and starred in the remake of the musical romance "The Birth of a Star". Personal life
From 2006 to 2007, Cooper was married to actress Jennifer Esposito. He also dated Russian model Irina Shayk from 2015 to 2019, and the two have a daughter. He supports several organizations that help people fight cancer.
