The artist Elena Ostraya was born in Kazan in 1964. Graduated from KGUKiI (KGAKiI) School of Drama in 1985.

She is a member of the Union of Artists of Tatarstan and the Union of Artists of Russia. In 2003 Elena Ostraya held her first solo exhibition, which was held in Moscow. Since then, Elena Ostraya has held frequent exhibitions. Her paintings are full of soft lyricism and special sensibility. The rich color palette also responds to the artist's work.
