However, what really made General Patton famous was World War II. However, on December 9, 1945, General Patton was seriously injured in a car accident while out hunting.
That morning, General Patton made an appointment with Major General Guy to go hunting with a nineteen-year-old soldier. General Patton and his party talked and laughed all the way, and when the car reached a railroad track, the driver suddenly found a large truck rushing towards him, which suddenly made a sharp 90-degree turn and crossed the front of the car in which General Patton was riding. Although General Patton was still awake at this time, due to his injuries, General Patton died on December 21 at the age of 60.
