Ansel Adams (February 20, 1902 – April 22, 1984) was an American landscape photographer, photography educator, and nature conservationist, founder of the "Area Exposure Act" and one of the founders of the "f/64 group" that advocated "pure photography". [1] Born in San Francisco. Adams has been featured on the cover of TIME magazine and starred in the five-episode television series "Photography – The Art of Sharpness," a symbol of American ecological environmental protection. Millions of copies of his photographic books have been printed and are available in supermarkets in the United States.
