In front of his biography work "Moon is Hometown Ming", Chen Xu fell into a thick nostalgia. "The stone caves, the wooden doors are ajar, the light of the kerosene lamps shines through the cracks in the doors and the windows... Much like the home I lived in as a child. When I first saw this house, a special emotion came to my heart. He said.

On the 6th, the art exhibition of Chen Xuchuantuo, a scholar of Jinshang culture, was being exhibited at Shanxi Art Museum, with more than 100 works on display, involving porcelain, bronze, oracle bone, Chinese finance, Jinshang culture, Songshan geology and other series.

Chuan Tuo is an ancient skill, known as the "camera" of the ancients, and has played an important role in archaeology, cultural museums, ancient books and other fields. Liang Yu of the Southern Dynasty and the "On the Table of Books" have the phrase "Tuoshu knows how to use thin paper", and the "Sui Shu Jing Zhizhi" has a record that "the foundation of its inheritance and expansion is still in the secret mansion". Historically, many diaspora cultural relics and documents have been circulated because of the transmission of works.

In 1995, Chen Xu became acquainted with Chuan Tuo and studied the art of Chuan Tuo under the paleographer Zhang Hao. "When studying the physical remains of Jinshang, I was fascinated by Chuantuo for the first time, and I have been working hard to explore it for more than 20 years." He said.

The exhibited work "Hongru Boshang" is 12 meters long and 3 meters high, and is composed of a pair of Yinglian, font number and plaque such as "Keeping the Way of the First King and Entering the Filial Piety and Giving Out His Brother, Borrowing the Adult's Affairs to Serve Righteous Juren", "Changyuchuan Tea House" and "Doctor of the Imperial Council". Chen Xu introduced that his picture creativity comes from "one street and two lines", and the prosperity of "one street and two lines" reflects the glory of Jin businessmen in the business world for more than 500 years.

A work needs to go through multiple links such as collection, production, and framing. Among them, the material collection is mostly outdoors. In order to complete the series of geological works of Songshan, in recent years, Chen Xu has traveled to Songshan almost every year. "Songshan Mountain has a history of 3.6 billion years and is known as the 'Father Mountain', and it is necessary to use the technology of transmission and expansion to present the geological wonder of the rock evolution of Songshan 'Five Generations in the Same House'." He said.

One by one, the works have been passed down and pioneered, leaving behind precious imprints of Chinese history and culture. Among the works on display, there is such a "scroll", wheel after wheel, several ruts stretch endlessly. The wheel is the remains of Jin merchants collected by Chen Xu; The rut is that he expanded the ancient road of Yanmen Pass. "This rolling wheel has witnessed the Chinese civilization all the way to prosperity and strength." Chen Xu sighed.

Passing on and expanding skills is not only for the image of the image, but also for historical evidence and cultural inheritance. In Chen Xu's view, this ancient skill, while inheriting, needs to develop and innovate.

"I have been exploring to integrate planar expansion, three-dimensional expansion, software expansion and living body topology, so that Chuantuo can better integrate into modern life, record, display, tell and inherit Chinese culture." Chen Xu said that in the next step, about 500 Yungang Grottoes series of works will be created, using the transmission and expansion works as the carrier to make the cultural heritage "live". (End)
