Therefore, since he was twenty years old, Shao Qian has paid attention to local historical materials, seeking from afar in historical brochures, and recently invading the elders, and recording them casually, especially all the history since the fifth year of Wanli, which is especially detailed. What makes Shao Qian most nerve-wracking is what kind of attitude to adopt. The biggest problem in writing history is whether you can write straight. Since ancient times, many histories have been distorted and deformed by conforming to the powerful, and behind every history book, there are unspeakable bitternesses. Once, Shao Qian wrote nineteen poems in ten poetic styles, and someone ran over to Zou Diguang and said that Shao Qian was showing off his skills, and in order to express himself, he had used all his talents. Zou Diguang smiled, did not speak, turned around and wrote a "Shao Qianfu Ten Body Poem Preface". At the end of the prologue, he wrote a somewhat tongue-twisting sentence: "Shao Qianfu committed suicide, and people can do their best?" "-Shao Qianfu can still use his talent, and you? Shao Qian has a book of poems, named "Eyebrows Like Grass", saying that his poems are as useless as eyebrows. Zou Diguang found out and wrote another "Eyebrows Like Grass Order". "The eyebrows are not really useless, Sun Shou's sorrowful eyebrows, Wenjun's distant mountains, can make people intoxicated, such as Zhaohua Jicai, dreams but not necessarily obtained, which is useless?" Finally, he said excitedly: "The poem of the submersible is also a distant mountain frowning, why not admire it." The first fear "eyebrows like grass" comes out, and people are jealous, such as jealous eyebrows. "Shao Qianfu, just wait for others to envy you!

After returning from the deputy envoy of Huguang Tixue in the seventeenth year of Wanli (1589), Zou Diguang built the Yugong Valley under the Huishan Mountain, and he and the scribes chanted during it. Shao Qian ran here when he had nothing to do, and chanted poetry and wine with Zhu Jian, Chen Jinqing and others. On the eve of the New Year in the forty-second year of Wanli (1614), Shao Qian came again, and it happened that Zhu and Chen were also there. They first listened to the preamble of the Lotus Sutra at Zhenxi Nunnery, and then went to Yijitang to watch the "Legend of Wang Yishao". After the New Year, on the fifth day of the first lunar month, Zou Diguang took them to climb the mountain, and only Shao Qian and Xin'er went straight to the highest peak in one breath. On the seventh day of the first year, they went to Shen Yuanyuan's house for a spring drink, and then it was not worth visiting the prostitutes. These days, they are very happy and write many poems. Zhu Jian and Shao Qian are old acquaintances, and they have met in Chen Ji's Confucian family and have made friends from this. Zhu Jian is eleven years older than him, famous for his seal carving, and the printing style is sluggish. After reading Shao Qian's seal, he said that this is He Zhen's style - since then, the rivers and lakes have classified Shao Dian as a "snow fishery school". Before the first month had passed, Shao Qian got up to say goodbye, he was going to Nanjing to visit friends, and the sixty-six-year-old Zou Diguang wrote a poem for him "Send Shao Qianfu to Swim in White". Among the seniors Shao Qian's relationship, Zou Diguang can be said to be the best person for him. Not only did he work hard to promote himself, but he also wrote letters everywhere recommending him. Li Weizhen, the shangshu of the Nanjing Ministry of Ceremonies, who is nearly 80 years old, once received such a letter, saying that Shao Qian vomited his chest for poetry, did not make pompous words, and also vomited his chest for people, did not make pompous attitudes, and people and poems were first-class, that is, they mixed very badly, and some people persuaded him to change his career, Shao Qian was unwilling, and I did not agree, so I asked Mr. Li to help him choose. Li Weizhen has been in the political arena for nearly 60 years, and he is also the leader of the literary circle after Wang Shizhen and Li Panlong, and all illusions of truth and falsity cannot escape his eyes. He looked at the "Beggarly Preface Poem" and "Shao Shanren Poems" on the case, and then looked at Shao Qian himself, who was sitting in front of him, as if he saw the blue strip stone in front of the door that was washed hard by the wind and rain. Shao Qian suffered from thirst quenching disease after the death of his wife and children, and thought that he would live as short as Wang Bo and Li He. After abandoning home and traveling, it is often said that the body disappears faster than the morning dew. He once went to Yunqi Mountain in Hangzhou to pay homage to Master Lotus Pond, and before he joined his palms, he wished to see the pure name and cultivate his head. Master Lotus Pond just dusted up and looked at him without saying a word. What kind of metaphor is this? No one knows. According to the records of Li Weizhen and Mao Yingxiang, Shao Qian was also relatively speechless, and suddenly seemed to have an understanding, and people seemed to be open-minded all of a sudden. He wrote a self-narrating "Records of Qiao" very seriously, and once he encountered an accident, he was buried together with his "Jinlan Coupon", "Eyebrows Like Grass" and the golden stone seal, with the dashing of "famous mountains and hollows hiding my remains", if a confidant could write a line "Ming poet Shao Qian's tomb", it would be too satisfying. After that, he often held this "Records of Qiao" and asked famous artists to write inscriptions. Shao Qian was eager to see what others said of him, and he asked Zou Diguang's nephew Mao Yingxiang to write a biography for him. Write a biography for a big living person? In fact, after his death, Chen Weisong and Fan Fang wrote biographies to him separately, but he himself had not read those two articles, especially Fan Fang's one, which adopted the style of Shaw's direct book based on facts, without any concealment, so realistic that he couldn't bear to look at it directly, if Shao Qian read it, I don't know how to feel.

In that "Biography of Shaoshan People", Fan Fang recorded a little-known secret. He said that the mountain people "indulge in prostitutes, every guest in Jinling, infatuated with Beili, and receive gifts from all directions, all of which are spent on it, and those who cover it like this, they also count." Shao Qian, who usually spends as much as his life, actually spends money on the wind and moon field, and again and again, this rather nonsensical style picture really makes people feel absurd.

Indulging in sound and looking down on life and death, is this Shao Qian's understanding? At the end of "Inscription Shao Qianfu Qiao Zhi", Li Weizhen said unceremoniously: "Life and death are like day and night, and long nights and desires will be revealed. Walking in the sky by day will be called death, but can it be born? It's smelling, not being tatsuya. Please refer to the lotus pond more. "At such a young age, you are talking about death, this is not the so-called Daguan, your metaphor for Master Lotus Pond, you should ponder it again."

Shao Qian was not angry, but to some other celebrities, he was not so polite.

In the autumn of the forty-third year of Wanli (1615), he went to Yushan to visit Qian Qianyi with a letter from Zou Diguang, and the concierge of the Qian Mansion reported more slowly, Shao Qian was furious on the spot, scolded the concierge, and then walked away, making Qian Qianyi very embarrassed, and hurriedly "provoked with books and cited guilt", Shao Qian did not pay attention to it at all. It was not until 45 years later, when Shao Qian crossed the river with a book and saw him in a collection of poems, that Qian Qianyi breathed a sigh of relief: "White-headed new knowledge, touch the present and the past, toast to each other", relieved and overflowing.

But Tan Yuanchun didn't have such luck because he didn't live long enough. He became famous at the age of 20, and his poetry was spiritual, opposed to imitation of antiquity, and deeply lonely; after co-compiling several collections of "Tang Shi Gui" and "Ancient Poems Return" with his fellow townsman Zhong Yi, he became famous, and was known as the "Jingling School" and was known as "Zhong Tan", so that "the scholar did not talk about Jingling as a custom, and Wang Li's banner was almost exhausted." He himself is also the "first in the rural test between the apocalypse", and his spirit is magnificent and unmistakable for a while. No one expected that his artistic proposition of "the law is not predetermined" and "the words are not accurate" deeply angered Shao Qian. Once, Shao Qian came to Zhong Yi's boat, cut his head and covered his face to make accusations against Tan Yuanchun, and then counted the fallacies of his poetics, which made Tan Yuanchun, who has always been lonely and arrogant, very unable to get off the stage, and could only smile bitterly "Superior to the trees in the mountains, tourists or unknown", and soon broke his dream and passed away.

Huzhou Shen 㴶, in the first year of the apocalypse (1621), was worshipped as a scholar of the Ministry of Ceremonies and a scholar of Dongge University, known as "Shen Xiangguo". His father Shen Jiefu served as the right deputy capital Yushi, and his younger brother Shen Yan served as the Shangshu of the Nanjing Criminal Department, which can be described as full of hairpins. When he taught the inner study hall as a courtier, there was a student named Li Jinzhong, that is, the "nine-thousand-year-old" Wei Zhongxian, and the two of them could not move their eyebrows, which made Shen Xiangguo very popular in the imperial court. Shao Qian once cast "Midnight Song" to visit him, but was thought strange by Shen Yu, and later inquired about Shen Xiangguo's good health preservation skills, often met some cyclamen and people who were good at writing "green words", so he mixed into the mansion on the grounds of learning cultivation skills. After coming in, I found that the guest sat in the west and the host sat in the east, and the conversation between the guest and host was extremely awkward, and the seats were far away. So Shao Qian said loudly, the first time I visited, I really want to talk to you, but this is extremely inconvenient, can you move your seat? Shen 㴶 was in a very good mood that day and said "from the mountain to the life of the people". Just as he moved his seat, Shao Qian whispered a few words to him about the cultivation guidance technique, and Shen Yu immediately became excited as if he had taken an aphrodisiac. That day, Shao Qian got up to say goodbye, and Shen Yu was sent to the door, and he was still unfinished. After that, Shao Qian no longer went to the Shen Mansion. Others were very strange, and he asked rhetorically, will there still be the treatment of "sending relatives out of the country"? When telling this story, Fan Fang said "lure to the door and say goodbye", a word "seduction", highlighting that this is a contest of courage and wisdom under the shroud of power. Sometimes, Shao Qian is also a big white goose full of wildness.

In the impression of later generations, Shao Qian was far away from dignitaries. This was not the case, and to the surprise of many people, Shao Qian had close relations with many imperial officials, such as Wang Yangde and Wang Minghe, the chief soldiers of Wolf Mountain, Zhou Changying and Chen Zuxun of Tongzhou Zhizhou, Mao Qizong, deputy envoy of Shandong, Wang Xiangjin, political envoy of Zhejiang Youbu, Wu Yongxian, governor of Sichuan, and so on. Zhou Changying once donated money to help him engrave the "Xun Zhi" and "Friendship Record", Wang Xiangjin wrote the preface to the "Zhou Chengzhi", and Mao Qizong engraved the "Shaoshan People's Poems Collection", and when Wu Yongxian was the envoy of Zhejiang Bu, the poems of the two flew like snowflakes.

"State Riding History" Wang Xiangjin order

Shao Qian also visited some celebrities such as Dong Qichang, Huang Ruheng, Cao Xuetao, Zhu Zhifan, and Lin Gudu. However, life was not as splendid and open as he presupposed, but bore a bitter fruit that was dry and deflated, and the new wife did not want to live with him for a day. According to Chen Weisong's account: "Woman, the young and middle family son, the husband of the vulgar slave, begged to go every day. As for the reason for leaving, it is "to hate poverty and old age." Shao Qian is poor and old, but his heart is as soft as a teenager's long hair, a friend gave him a handwritten copy of Tang Xianzu's "Zi Ju Ji", he read it countless times, he yearned for the days in the story when men and women forget time in the ecstasy of love, he fantasized about the smoke and rain and misty clouds brought by love, and he believed that love could reverse time and make him return to youth. But Cheng's head did not look back, and he felt extremely defeated. He lost not only a woman, but also a youth that could have been regained. He wrote "Lost Will" to relieve the sorrow and anger in his heart. He couldn't help but think of his ex-wife Cheng Wuxian and often dreamed of seeing her, in which she was a disciple of Daxueshan and was still so gentle and kind. He also often talked about her with his friends, crying as he spoke. He wrote many poems for her, and he made these memories composed of words into a "Shuyuan Liufang Book", and he wanted to pass on his wife's virtues forever.

While wandering outside, there was a rumor that he was dead, and he wrote a poem, "There is no woman and no grandson in life, and there is no reason for death if the sky wants to die", and laughed at it. He wrote "State Capital", and the voice of denigration has been heard incessantly, and he has not taken it to heart. One day, he saw such a poem: "Coats Hu is a messenger, and he expects to keep the public will in the past." Hundred schemes will be included in the constitution, and they are bent on repairing the state will. Wuyou Mingyue did not know one, and the third Ling wife had reached the second. The seal engraved Zhou Qin Xiao was ashamed of it, and the poetry of Han Wei was as good as before. Why pray for the year and send mayflies with the king. "The poem is extremely poorly written, but each word is like a sharp arrow with barbs, which makes him pierce his heart with arrows. What makes him even more unacceptable is that the person who wrote this poem is surnamed Tang, he is a fellow poet friend of the society, and the two have a very good relationship on weekdays, who would have thought that he would write such a poem in private to satirize him! During the time he left home, the house left by his ancestors was also occupied by the clan, and he was later regained with the help of his friend Fan Fengyi. The villagers did not like him, often quarreled over some small things, and even attacked him for the sake of the alliance, no matter what he said, he would be mercilessly ridiculed and laughed at by the neighbors. My hometown will definitely not be able to stay, "where can I live in peace" - although the heaven and earth are big, where can I still accommodate a Shao submarine?

At this time, a Shandong man named Wang Yusheng came to his door and asked him if he would like to live in Rugao, and if he agreed, he was very willing to help. This Wang Yusheng is the Wang Jinshi in "Liaozhai Zhiwei Fangdi", who was in Rugaozhi County at the time, he valued Shao Qian's talent very much, sympathized with his suffering, and couldn't bear to be swallowed up by the mudslides of society. Shao Qianrugao had a large number of friends, especially Huang Yingzheng, and promised to cede a piece of land to him as a cemetery, which he always remembered, although Huang Yingzheng had been dead for fifteen years, his eldest son Huang Fu patted his chest to reassure him. To Rugao, Shao Qian has always had an inexplicable sense of closeness, and now that Rugao has opened his arms to him, what reason does he have to refuse! Therefore, Wang Yusheng "styled his house, signed his door, and lived in Donggao" - Yingshaoshan people lived in Donggao. It was for the fourteenth year of Chongzhen (1641), the age of Xinwei, that year Shao Qian was sixty-one years old.

Bidding farewell to his hometown, Shao Qian was extremely painful, and he said in a poem to Fan Fengyi, "Who is not far apart? This is the most bitter", but this awl digging heart feeling no one can see except yourself, let alone care. As the sun sets, a small boat sails towards Rugao. "A hundred years of moving only a piece of stone, half a life capsule stores only a new poem", this poem of a friend is not pretentious, it is indeed a true portrayal of his moving. "The flat boat is carried, and there are no books and flowers and stones", Shao Qian stepped on the land of Donggao alone. What he didn't expect was that a large group of Rugao's friends had long been waiting there, and Huang Fu, who was not yet forty years old, was particularly enthusiastic, and recited a song "Mr. Xi Shao Qianfu Comes to Live" on the spot, "If you call the first son to be there, you will welcome each other on three paths", if my father is still there, I don't know what to be happy about. Fan Fang, who was not yet weak, also followed the elders, secretly looking at the legendary strange man. Yugonglu (also known as Zhigonglu) is located in the east of the city, which is very close to the dirt garden, can Shao Qian escape this world full of dirt?

Shaoshanren started a new life, he found an old lady surnamed Liu to help him cook, made Mrs. Liu's son a doorboy, and adopted a little girl named Lantern as a maid. Wang Xian Ling came to see him every three to five, and sent some silver taels from time to time. Friends often visit to talk about new poems and drink new tea. Fan Fengyi also came from Tongzhou, and every time he would leave some money and persuade him to return to his hometown. Every New Year's Day, Huang Fu would invite Shao Qian to his Shuzhai to Panhuan for three or two days, look at the plum blossoms, order a small wine, let the old man feel the festive atmosphere, or call him to Liu Shikuang's tea house to chant poetry together. Huang Fu's younger brother Huang Jing, as well as Xu Rong and Tong Changling of Tongli frequently came to ask the mountain people for advice on seal carving, and Shao Qian took out the "History of the Imperial Ming Seal" and "Character Study Examination Errors" to explain to them, and personally demonstrated them. The gentle breeze blew away Shao Qianjiuo's frowns. He planted clumps of turquoise bamboo around the house, erected Taihu stones, and planted Yu Beauty flowers, and his face gradually turned red.

The small days were as quiet as practice, but the situation took a sharp turn, and the huge shadow rising like flames had already swept over everyone's heads. Gossip is flying all over the world, one moment is Emperor Sizong in Coal Mountain Bintian, another moment is the disappearance of the crown prince and King Ding and King Yong, another time is Xu Zhi's suicide and martyrdom, another time is King Fu in Nanjing, that is, the emperor's throne, and another time is General Wu's Great Destruction Thief Army. Shao Shanren cried and laughed for a while. He was worried about the Daming rivers and mountains, and for those who hated him, he could only see each other in flesh and blood in words. He felt more and more uncontrollable about life, and he feared that the words that had been gathered for many years would one day become refugees fleeing all over the place. "History of the Emperor and Ming Seals", "Shao Shanren Poems", and "Lost Li Zhi" have all been engraved, only "State Capital" is still in the middle of the fire, Shao Qian feels that he can no longer wait, and must be engraved and printed as soon as possible.

In February 1645, the second year of the reign of the Great Qing Dynasty, everything was ready, and he wanted to write a preface to end the book, which had been written for forty years. At the end of the preface, he wrote very seriously "Hongguang Yiyou February Fang Spring Festival Wuyue Foreign Minister Shao Qianshu sent in Rugao Yu Gonglu no mayflies", he used the very sensitive word "Hongguang" to pay tribute to the era that gradually drifted away. He wrote not only about his attachment to a dynasty, he wanted to fight the nothingness of life with the aria of life. In fact, he didn't know how terrifying his emotional impulse was, if he learned that more than ten years later, Zhuang Tingxuan of Huzhou used the Nanxian name in the "History of the Ming Dynasty", which triggered the largest literary prison case in the early Qing Dynasty, killing the heads of Jiangnan scribes and wailing all over the place, he should be glad how lucky he was, and thank that there was no pair of sinister eyes in this world to focus on him.

At this time, the whole city was frightened birds, as if the roar of thousands of iron horses had come from far and near, and the entire Rugao city trembled, and everyone was like ants on a hot pot. In a panic, Shao Qian took Liu Concubine, Liu Concubine's son, and the lamp and rushed to the east. As soon as he arrived at Jijialeng, he couldn't withstand the hard work and fright, and Liu Concubine's son, who was not familiar with the world, fell first and never stood up again. There was no time to grieve, they went all the way to the east, to He Pengzhuang, to Yangzhuang, to Huangjiazhuang. "Mercedes has no fixed day, where can you hide", "tired and thinking frequently, the heart can't help but beat". Along the way, they were terrified and prepared for hardship. It wasn't until half a year later that he received a letter from a friend in Gaocheng, saying that the door of the residence was open day and night, "the poor and scoops were feathered, and the curls were half dusty", "hungry rats walked through the walls, and the cobwebs were low", the tables and chairs were all thick dust, the stove was crawling with moss, and the "History of the Emperor and Ming Seal" had long disappeared, Shao Qian decided not to hide anymore, he had to go back immediately, he did not want to lose this only place to live physically and mentally after a difficult life of loneliness.

Finally ending the turbulent days of exile in 1645, Shao Qian took Liu Concubine and Lantern back to the apartment, hoping to settle down from now on. Who knew that on the fourth day of returning to the city, Liu Concubine suddenly died of an emergency, which made Shao Qian re-experience the tearing and despair when his relatives died. In the chaotic times, this illiterate old woman in the countryside made him have a deep sense of dependence and became the closest person in the world. Shao used his best energy to find the coffin and bury her in the cemetery that Huang Yingzheng sent him. At night, he sat in the hut, and the past and the future were like a tide.

What hit Shao Qian again was the departure of the lamp. Since Liu Concubine's death, Wang Xian Ling has also left office, and his life has become more and more poor. He had dozens of taels of silver in his possession, and usually lived on loans to obtain interest, but one night, he was served by a thief. He had to take out the dozens of volumes that had been with him for more than 30 years and sell them for a while, "although the clouds are rich, they can be read and eaten", and no matter how rich spiritual food is, it is no match for a thin bowl of porridge in reality, Shao Qian can only smile bitterly. But life is like a hungry tiger, always pressing each other. In order to let Lantern and himself live, the Shaoshan people, who really had no way, sold the apartment where Liao Yi lived and moved to live in three huts in the middle of the west of the city. However, there are always many accidents waiting for him in life, and the most unexpected is that the lamp that has been raised for seven years has to leave him. After seven years of dependence, he regarded the lamp as the most important part of his life, and he could not give it up. Regarding the reason for the lamp's departure, everyone said that it was "abduction for the sake of the heroic power", and Fan Fang explained the most real reason for this incident in the "Biography of the Shaoshan People": "When he was nearly eighty years old, he drowned a female slave, sold her old residence, and lived in the west of the city, and the female slave drowned for a year. Who would have thought that the "so-and-so" in Shanren's "Lamp for So-and-so" is not a strong man at all, but a teenager full of youth and vitality. - The old man was once again defeated by the years and had no power to fight back. A little overwhelmed, he wrote to the boy many times, asking him to return his lamp, but who cares about his poor and ugly old man?

He was seriously ill. After recovering from the disease, the mountain people became more and more eccentric. He only cooks one meal a day in the morning, goes to a friend's house at noon to catch the autumn breeze, and a little later, it is closed. At a friend's house, as long as he saw green onions and garlic that he didn't like, he began to curse and curse, causing the servants at the friend's house to be bored with him. He cooks by himself, the rice is counted, and after the firewood is bought, it must be divided into small bundles, and for each meal, three small boxes of rice, seven small bundles of firewood, not a little more, and others laugh that this is "rice beads and laurels". He has a bookkeeper, everything is registered at home, and someone looks at it, it is nothing more than some bamboo sawdust, a torn piece of paper, a bad pen, and he also records it seriously, and everyone who sees it is hilarious. He also has a habit of having a fixed place for everything, not mixing with each other, and checking anything in the account book first. Fan Fang had seen this scene with his own eyes: Shao Shanren used an awl, did not put it back in its original place, remembered this incident when he went out, and had to open the door and put it away again before he was willing to stop. He often saw the old man for a thing, one moment to start, one moment to close, the other to seal.

He began to talk about the previous dynasty when he met people, about the literary circles sixty years ago, about the friendship of the legendary old-timers for him, about the light breeze in the world's famous gardens, and began to shed tears as he spoke, and then he was silent alone. Some people say that what he misses is not the dynasty that is gradually disappearing, but the self who has just opened his emotions.

He always ran to the water painting garden. A young man came to the water painting garden and liked to hear these old words from him. Before dawn, the old man came, and the young man was still sleeping, and he sat there and waited, sometimes until the sun tilted to the west without a word of complaint. The young man was reminded to keep his distance. What is strange is that in the seven or eight years that this young man has been in Rugao, the old man has never scolded him, always spoke softly, talked all day, and talked about everything. This young man is Chen Weisong of Yixing. In November of the fifteenth year of Shunzhi (1658), he came to Rugao to visit his father and brave the frontier, and he stayed in the deep green mountain house of the Water Painting Garden to study.

The world knows that Chen Weisong likes to accompany Xu Ziyun, but in fact, the mountain people have the same "sleeve fetish" as him. In the past in Zou Diguang's Huixi Garden, Shao Qian also liked a song boy there and wanted to take him out, but in the end the shy money bag made him cut off this idea. It was Fan Fang who revealed this secret, and this young man was also inseparable from the Shaoshan people in his later years.

When the old man was 80 years old, Chen Weisong wrote an article for him "The 80th Birthday of Mr. Shao Qianfu". Chen Weisong was surprised to find that this old man was familiar with the articles of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Six Dynasties, especially the "Selected Works"; Five words of ancient poetry, quaint and wonderful; The seal book and the eight-point book are even more speechless; The most powerful thing is numerology, thousands of strokes, without the slightest error; It is a pity that he has written no less than hundreds of thousands of books in his life, and many of them have been taken away. Chen Weisong was very emotional: "There are many literati in ancient and modern times who are poor, but there are no poor people like Mr. Shao. ”

Rugao City, which had received the sword light and sword shadow, returned to its former calm, and the chanting of high and low Xu Qiao and the soft and long chanting sound came one after another. The gentlemen here have another good taste, they grind stones, sweep chips and expand money, and indulge in the hardship and pain of the blade swimming on the stone. The wind is prosperous, almost every Qin Han, every household is Sixi. Just as the knife rose and fell, a school of seal carving was quietly born. Huang Jing, Xu Rong, and Tong Changling were like the noon sun, warm and bright, and they were revered by later generations as the founding three ancestors of the "Donggao Yin School". And that Shaoshan man, the whole world has almost forgotten him, who else will think of him?

Perhaps there is one person, that is, Wang Shizhen, the official of the Yangzhou government, since that visit to the west party committee of the city, every time he writes to the frontier, he has to greet Senior Shao by the way. Two years later, at the end of February of the fourth year of Kangxi (1665), the peerless Wang Shizhen once again came to Rugao, braved the frontier to welcome him, and held a meditation gathering at Shuiyuan on the third day of March. On that day, the clear silk fluttered, the prosperity occasionally fell, the air floated with the faint and shallow smell of spring, Chen Weisong, Mao Shizhu, Xu Silong, Mao He Shu, Mao Danshu were all there, everyone first tasted tea in the Hanbi Hall, folded into the pillow smoke pavilion, watched Wen Zhengming's "Orchid Pavilion Cultivation Map", and then boated to wash the pool. Just when he was about to untie the cable and board the boat, Wang Shizhen suddenly said: "Zijiye, is there no submersible?" So someone hurried to the west of the city. Eighty-five-year-old Shao Qian had been ill for several months, and when he heard that Wang Shizhen had invited him, he came in a small sedan chair with a sick body. The arrival of the mountain people made Wang Shizhen very happy, and proposed on the spot that "poetry is not limited to rhyme, and people are not one". That day, he was extremely interested, and I saw him sitting in the Xiangzhong Pavilion, hiding his side hat, looking like a fairy man, and waving his hand was the ten songs of "Shangwei Frontier Recruitment with Shao Qianfu Chen Qinian Cultivating the Water Painting Garden". His poems are like the wind returning to the sea, the dragon is unpredictable, and everyone is shocked. The Shao Shanren was also infected, and he, who had not given a poem for a long time, also trembled and chanted:

The mountain garden is full of winds, not reducing the Lanting past tour.

The year seems to be eternal and around the beautiful scenery, and the guest is the same as the celebrity.

The song seems to come out of the clouds, and the smell of wine floats on the water.

But he blamed the monarchs for being too rogue, and the poem was instantly proud.

The title of the poem, "Shangwei Water Painting Nunnery with Wang Ruan Ting", was specially written to Wang Shizhen. Although there is no emerald distant mountains in the early years, after all, it is the smoke that has been cultivated since the Wanli years, and there is always an indescribable elegance between the lines. Wang Shizhen sincerely praised: "Good poetry is still Shao Qianfu!" Years later, he talked about this incident in "Chibei Occasional Talk", and also lamented that "I can still give poetry to the elders". His respect for the mountain people was completely from the bottom of his heart.

Wang Shizhen wanted to copy a copy, but he did not expect that he would never have the opportunity to return it to the old man, and the year after returning to Yangzhou, the "ancient Yimin" who had read all the vicissitudes passed away.
