British "perverted killer" David Fuller murdered two women more than 30 years ago and sexually abused more than 100 bodies in recent years.
David, now 68, has three marriages and was an electrician at the hospital, which set the stage for his crime. He confessed to defacing the bodies of a 9-year-old girl and a 100-year-old woman.
On 15 December 2021, he was sentenced to two life sentences on 15 December 2021 after he pleaded guilty to the murder of Wendy Nair and Caroline Pearce in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in 1987 at Maidstone Crown Court.
He was also sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison on other unrelated charges that pleaded guilty, including the sexual assault of 78 deceased women between 2008 and 2020 at the morgue of Tunbridge Wells Hospital and the former Kent and Sussex Hospital.
Last month, police filed another 16 charges against him for sexual offences committed at the morgue. This morning, he appeared via video link at Crown Court in Croydon, south London. Currently, the former hospital electrician is being held in jail in Durham County.
On December 4, 2020, at his home in Heathfield, East Sussex, police found extremely pornographic images that appeared to show indecent assault on corpses. When charges were filed against him, Fuller answered "guilty" to everyone.
At the time of his arrest, he was still working for the NHS Trust and had access to all areas of the two hospitals with a swigable identity card. He also has a staggering 4 million indecent images of children on his hard drive, mostly downloaded from the Internet.
The abominable killer was eventually sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. Following David's conviction, the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Bureau identified a total of 101 victims, all deceased adult females whose bodies were abused between 2007 and 2020.
