Some viewpoints point out that the United States and Taiwan are blowing the "war trumpet" together, each with its own plans, and both sides are deliberately pushing up the situation in the Taiwan Strait and trying to seek political selfish interests. For the United States, domestic inflation remains high and the economy continues to decline. The Biden administration's popular approval rating continues to fall, and the Democratic Party may lose the midterm congressional elections. Therefore, Blinken tried to manipulate the Taiwan Strait issue to divert people's attention and improve the election situation.
At present, the countdown to the "nine-in-one" election in Taiwan has begun, and the DPP authorities are eager to get the support of the US side, because they are also facing difficulties. In the first half of this year, Taiwan's CPI increased by 3.13% over the same period last year, and factors such as the epidemic, global inflation, and energy and raw material supply shocks caused Taiwan's economic growth in 2022 to be lower than expected, and the estimate will be revised down to 3.52%. Therefore, in order to boost the election situation, the DPP continues to manipulate cross-strait tensions, waving the banner of "resisting China and protecting Taiwan" and selling "dried mangoes" in the hope of maximizing votes.
Some people on the island pointed out that the US official blows the "war trumpet" and the US side is trying to "Ukrainize" the Taiwan Strait, prompting the mainland to force it to intervene and achieve the goal of weakening China. From Pelosi's sneaking into Taiwan to Biden's four clear remarks of "sending troops to protect Taiwan", to the recent rumors of joint research and development of weapons by the United States and Taiwan, and the concoction of the so-called "2022 Taiwan Policy Act", all signs show that the United States is actively stimulating the mainland's red line by manipulating Taiwan-related issues, in order to induce the mainland to take action against Taiwan. At the same time, the United States is constantly hyping up the theory of mainland attack on Taiwan, and constantly advancing the forecast schedule, the short-term purpose is to improve the election situation of the Democratic government, and the long-term purpose is to take advantage of the hot robbery, after weakening Russia, quickly lock in China, in order to maintain and continue the position of the United States in world hegemony.

But the problem is that the time will come. Mainland officials clearly stated in the report of the 20 th CPC National Congress that Taiwan is China's Taiwan, and resolving the Taiwan issue Chinese its own business and should be decided by the Chinese. We persist in striving for the broad prospects of peaceful reunification with the greatest sincerity and with the greatest efforts, but we will never promise to renounce the use of force and reserve the option of taking all necessary measures. There is no doubt that striving for peaceful reunification of the two sides of the strait is still the mainland's preferred option, but it is by no means the only option. If the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces and external interference forces continue to provoke and persecute, or even touch or break through the bottom line of the "one-China principle," then the mainland will certainly take all drastic measures, including military means, to resolutely thwart and smash the "Taiwan independence" separatist conspiracy. Resolutely safeguard national sovereignty and territorial unity.
It is worth mentioning that despite the constant provocations and persecution of the United States and Taiwan, the mainland has firmly grasped the initiative and leading power in Taiwan affairs, and the situation in the Taiwan Strait has also undergone fundamental changes. Once upon a time, whenever the "Taiwan independence" separatist forces carried out rampant provocations against the mainland, US aircraft carriers would appear like ghosts near the Taiwan Strait, and even US politicians repeatedly issued arrogant and arrogant "warnings." However, after the PLA launched an epic "encirclement of Taiwan" military exercise, the United States not only did not increase its troops in the Taiwan Strait area, but withdrew the closest aircraft carrier "Ronald Reagan" to the Taiwan Strait by several hundred kilometers overnight.
